Overview iball Airway 21.0MP-58 designed to enable users with access to High Speed Internet via HSPA / UMTS / EDGE / GPRS Networks which offers a maximum data transfer rate upto 21.6Mbps (HSPA+) & 5.76Mbps (HSUPA). 2. System Requirements Minimum C.P.U 300MHz (Intel Platform), 256Mb Ram & 40Mb Hard disk space. USIM - 2G/3G GSM support. 3. Product Features 1 Support for HSPA+ / UMTS: 2100Mhz GSM / GPRS / EDGE: 850Mhz, 900Mhz, 1800Mhz and 1900Mhz Voice Call Micro SD Card slot - Max. up to 32GB support Compatible with 2G /3G GSM Network

5 5. Drivers & Application Installation a) Installing the Application on Windows OS Important note: Please be sure that your PC has at least 40MB free disk. Connect the data cad to your PC, and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation. Step1: Click the [Next] button when the installation automatically popup 3

6 Step2: Select a hard disk for storing the software, and then click the [Install] button 4

7 Step3: Please wait while iball Airway is being installed. Step4: Click the [Finish] button to complete the software installation. 5

8 Note: For proper hardware detection of USB modem, restart the PC & Double Click the desktop iball Airway 21.0MP-58 icon. 6

10 Menu Button: Connect: Connect to the Internet. Browser: Open the Internet Explorer. Usage: Check the Data Usage & Traffic statistics. Call: Provides call services. SMS: Provides SMS services Phonebook: You can manage the contacts conveniently with the Terminal Management. Settings: Set the work status of the application. USSD: Send the USSD command with the terminal. Vaulten: Backup, Sync & Share data with cloud storage. Help: User guide 8

11 iball Hotspot : Download the SoftAP application from iball website to create your own Hotspot (WiFi) zone. (OS compatible: win7/8) iball SoftAP Manager To create WiFi Hotspot zone primarily connect internet through iball Airway Menu then start iball SoftAP Manager Note: Your system required WiFi enable hardware installed to create your own Hotspot zone. 9

12 b) Uninstalling the Application on Windows OS There are two ways to uninstall the software First one: Click Start > All programs > iball Airway 21.0MP-58, and choose Uninstall iball Airway 21.0MP-58, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the uninstall Alternate Option: Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs, select iball Airway 21.0MP-58 to remove the application from your PC. 10

13 c) Installing the Drivers & Application on MAC OS Important note: Please be sure your Mac OS X 10.5 /10.6/10.7/ 10.8 version and your (U) SIM has been plugged into the data card, otherwise the application cannot run on your PC. Connect the data card to your PC, and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the installation. Step1: Connect the data card to the USB port, Icon will appear on desktop as iball Airway Installation 11

14 Note: Incase icon not appeared on screen, kindly confirm as iball Airway is properly mounted in the system. Vaulten Application is not supported in MAC OS. Step2: Installation process will start, Wait till Progress bar Completes 12

15 Step3: As installation is completed, you should restart your PC to run this program. d) Uninstalling the Application on MAC OS X You just need to Uninstall the application / delete the program directly. 13

16 Installation Guidelines for Windows OS 1. Please follow the installation steps as below 2. Provide desired login details and register with the Vaulten cloud service.

For Further Helpdesk kindly refer : Technical support: support@vaulten.com vaulten.com/faq Troubleshooting Guidelines (Data Card) Kindly disable Antivirus software temporary before proceeding installation steps. 15 Customer using desktop system is suggested to connect Data Card on backside of USB port. (Normally Front USB ports have low power which may cause fail to connect internet / slow speed,)

18 Sr No. 1 Common error message No Device / USB port error Solution Drivers not installed properly / Hardware not detecting : Kindly suggest to disable antivirus temporary and reinstall the 3G Card utility 2 No service Network not detecting: Need to manually search ISP signal as below steps 1) Click on "Setting" menu 2) Network connection->network search ->Manual search-> Click search 3) ISP name as display on screen will confirm network available in your area 4) select your ISP service name as SIM service available : 3G (UMTS) and 2G(GSM) 16

19 3 Failed to dialup 4 Internet working slow / Connect Disconnect problem Click the "Setting" button, Connection settings (Profile menu) > Search (predefined) > Select your ISP & Set default (Unplug & re-connect data card) Note: Customer using OS Winxp with SP2 are suggested to upgrade SP3 (Service Pack 3) Common problem is related to network signal as provided by operator * Signal Indicating G : Defines 85.6kbps speed (GPRS) E : Defines 237kbps speed (EDGE) H: Defines 3G speed (UMTS / HSDPA) Incase your SIM is 3G / 2G but network signal is showing wrong, refer steps as shown in point no.2 for service selection 17

20 5 Profile name - Showing blank 6 Error Click "Connect " button / Internet connected - Not browsing ISP MCC/MNC settings not Initializing : Need to Create New profile as below steps: 1) Click on "Setting" menu 2) Connection setting-> New- >Profile name->dial number-> APN->username and password (Blank) -> click ok 3) Select profile name and click on set default button. 4) Click on Connect Tab-> Remove checkmark from Set auto APN-> you will get your profile name - >click on connect... * Kindly check balance through USSD service * Confirm Internet Plan activated insert SIM temporary in mobile phone & check internet service working. * Unplug Data card > Temporary disable Antivirus > re-plug in USB port & check 18
