UTeach Arkansas Scholarship Contest Amount: $5000 Deadline: November 30 Website: The UTeach Arkansas Scholarship Package is available to any student entering college academic year who is a resident of Arkansas. Each applicant must create an online video up to 15 seconds long demonstrating a science, technology, engineering or math concept and enter your video online. Fred Luster, Sr. Education Foundation Cosmetology Scholarship Amount: $250 Deadline: November 30 Website: Beauty school students can earn a cosmetology scholarship. Lyceum Scholars Program Deadline: December 1 Amount: Up to $10,000 Website: The Lyceum Scholars Academic Program at Clemson University is America s first and only university-based academic program dedicated to exploring the moral, political, and economic foundations of a free society. The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America Essay Contest Amount: Week in Washington Deadline: December 1 Website: This organization sponsors an essay contest for high school students, grades 10-12, to receive a scholarship to attend a summer Washington Workshops Congressional Seminar. Global Missions Scholarship Program Samford University Amount: $2000 annually Deadline: December 11 Website: This scholarship is for Samford s entering freshman students who demonstrate a clear sense of calling toward a vocation in full-time cross-cultural missions. Recipients receive $2,000 each academic year, for up to four years, and a one-time travel stipend of up to $3,000 for the required cross-cultural mission immersion. Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Scholarship Deadline: December 31 Amount: $850 Website: The Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Scholarship is open to graduating students interested in the environment. The initiative seeks to elevate young people (including disadvantaged and at-risk youth) into leadership roles by engaging them in environmental cleanup projects, empower volunteers to rebuild the environmental and social well-being of our communities, and improve local living conditions for both citizens and wildlife. Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship Deadline: December 31 Amount: $1000 Website: The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship is open to 9th-12th grade high school students, college students or graduate school students who are legal U.S. residents.
