9 3) Select the Asia Pacific option for the installation and click on next. 4) Accept the license agreement and click on next 5) Select the typical option for full installation and click on next Page 9 of 16

10 6) Click on the Install to begin the installation 7) Enable checkbox Launch Syndicate Bank RSA SecurID Software Token with Automation and click on Finish Page 10 of 16

11 1.3 Importing of RSA SecurID Desktop Token using.sdtid file. 1) Select Import from File Option. 2) Select the.sdtid file by clicking on Browse Page 11 of 16

12 3) Locate the saved file and click on Open 4) After Browsing click on Ok Page 12 of 16

13 5) Re-name the Token as desired. (Optional) 6) Change the Name and click on OK. 7) Click OK. 8) RSA SecurID Desktop Token will be operational and start displaying the token code. Page 13 of 16

15 1.4.2 Usage of RSA SecurID Desktop Token First Time User First time users for RSA SecurID Desktop token have to set their PIN. After setting the PIN, user can do their transactions by entering PIN + Token i.e. PASSCODE. Use of RSA SecurID Software Token is demonstrated for first time user as below:- 1) While performing transactions, users will be asked for 2FA. Following Screen will appear, prompting user to enter the Token-code. a) Enter the token-code as displayed on the SecurID Token b) Since you are the first time user, system will throw the below Message. c) Please visit the Set SyndProtect PIN Menu as mentioned in the above message. d) User will be prompted to set a 4 digit numerical PIN. PIN should be remember by the user (should not be shared with anyone). Page 15 of 16

16 e) Confirmation screen will appear upon successful setting of PIN with Token- Code. f) User can initiate the transactions directly by entering the Passcode (PIN + Token-Code) Returning Users Users who have already set the PIN, will have to perform their transactions by entering PIN + Token i.e. PASSCODE. a) Enter the Pin + Token-code (Passcode) then click on submit Note: Please note that in case the RSA SecurID Desktop based Software Token is lost/stolen/corrupt, kindly contact your Branch for necessary action or drop in an to syndprotect@syndicatebank.co.in or contact our Internet Helpdesk End of Document -- Page 16 of 16
