4 Overview The Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows you to securely access any resource inside the CACI network from a remote computer that has the VPN client software installed VPN is a good option if you are working over a high speed Internet connection and need access to a wide range of resources Everything you have access to at your CACI office is available remotely when you are working through a VPN connection, providing the correct client software is installed on the remote computer In order to use VPN you will need the following A CACI network account A Remote Access token (SecurID) or Soft token VPN client software If you plan on using client/server applications such as Lotus Notes you will also need the client software for those applications installed 4 Learning & Development CACI Proprietary Information

5 Accessing the VPN Software on the CACI Application Portal If you currently do not have the VPN software downloaded to your computer it may be downloaded from the CACI Application Portal Enter into the your web browser Click on Select 5 Learning & Development CACI Proprietary Information

10 Downloading the CACI VPN client software Click on Uninstall any previous IPSec VPN software you have on your PC using the Add or Remove Programs applet in your PC s Control Panel Download from this page the appropriate software according to your PC s operating system Unzip the.exe file you just downloaded Double click on the.exe file to begin the installation Your PC will need to reboot after the new files are installed in order to complete the installation 10 Learning & Development CACI Proprietary Information
