3 Instructional Design Functions Designing activities, courses, curriculum, and programs Planning and revising assessment Research especially concerning instruction Technology finding it, learning it, and implementing it in courses and programs We will be consulting with faculty in the future regarding these areas.

4 Instructional Design Part of the new Center for elearning (CeL) Designed the new elearning Certification Program for faculty who want to teach online An application process will be conducted each semester to determine who gets training. A request for proposals will be distributed during the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semesters, so please watch for them.

5 Instructional Technologies Part of Information Resource Management (IRM) Provide training and support for Blackboard as well as licensed elearning tools such as Elluminate, StudyMate, Respondus, and SafeAssign Teaching with Technology Showcase (SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, October 1, 2011)
