H2Vin Ltd, Southbank House, Black Prince Road, London SE1 7SJ Tel Fax As Burgundy specialists with more than 30 years experience of sourcing wines from the region, we are thrilled to offer you a selection of some of the very best wines from the 2014 Burgundy vintage En Primeur. What is En Primeur? En Primeur is the first offering of an estate s wines and allows you to purchase them whilst they are still in barrel, several months before they are released to the market. The price paid at time of purchase is in bond, which means that it excludes Duty and VAT. As we re not permitted to charge taxes in advance of wines arriving into the UK, these are both payable on release according to the rates in force at the time of delivery based on the original cost of the wines. So what are the benefits of buying En Primeur? Firstly, the En Primeur price is usually much cheaper than buying when bottled. Also, buying En Primeur allows you to buy highly sought after wines which are only available in very limited quantities and may be impossible to find after release. H 2 Vin Burgundy 2014 En Primeur Offer All wines are from the 2014 vintage unless otherwise stated. The wines will be shipped between May and November 2016 at the producers discretion based on bottling dates. 3 H2Vin Ltd, Southbank House, Black Prince Road, London SE1 7SJ Tel Fax Burgundy 2014 Vintage Report January 2016 Charming, fresh & balanced very Burgundian. The end of winter and early spring of 2014 were markedly mild, sunny and largely dry. Vine bud-burst was therefore early and led to thoughts of a potential late August harvest. However, this benevolent weather pattern did not continue with much of May being cooler and damper than usual; the net result was that the vines development was slowed. Flowering in the first week of June passed off successfully giving rise to hopes of a bountiful vintage much needed after a sequence of several smaller than average crops. June was dry and warm, for the most part, with occasional spikes in heat to over 30 C. The harvest was now expected to begin around the th September. The month though had not run its course before certain vignerons luck ran out as there was a savage hail storm that hit Meursault, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune for the 3 rd year in succession! Cruel indeed. The worst hit domaines lost 50% of potential earnings, with cru by cru losses varying between 40%-80%. The weather in July was decidedly mixed with only very few hot, sunny periods being scattered amongst predominately rainy, cool conditions. Rot was a constant threat and for some, especially on the Côte de Nuits, the presence of the Asian vinegar fly was another problem to face, as these unwelcome pests pierce the berries causing the juice to turn acetic. Vigilance and strict sorting was necessary in the vineyards where these challenges occurred. August too, continued to be unseasonably cool and damp. The grapes were only slowly nearing full ripeness. September dawned and the weather changed. Settled, sunny conditions set in with a cool drying north wind prayers had been answered! There were a couple of rain storms, but essentially the month was dry enabling the grapes to ripen sufficiently and the harvest to take place in good weather. Some growers chose to pick before

the rain in order to retain freshness and edge in their wines, whilst others chose to harvest after the rain in the hope of attaining extra ripeness. Both choices seem to have their successes. The finest wines show precision, clarity of fruit, excellent balance and an authenticity that is very Burgundian. The greatest reds offer fine aromatics, honesty, purity and elegance, with more fruit ripeness and weight than 2013; whilst the best whites marry a fine, focused linearity and tension with a juiciness of ripe fruit. Alcohol degrees, in general, are tempered and minerality/salinity is marked ensuring that the best wines are very appetising. The 2014 Chablis vintage stands out for exhibiting excellent verve and typicité and with good ageing potential. A widely noted refreshing drinkability is a key element of the success of 2014 Burgundy and the deft hand of the more sensitive winemakers has clearly adapted well to the relative delicacy of the 2014 fruit. Here the myriad of terroirs, that is so much a part of Burgundy, express themselves with clarity and finesse. 2014, like 2013 before it, may not be a vintage of intense structure and richness but its inherent restraint, finesse and precision allow the taster to savour many of the intriguing intricacies of wines from this most compelling of wine-producing regions. Volumes, overall, are more plentiful than in recent vintages, except for those embattled growers in the Volnay/Pommard sector where the hail caused such devastating damage. Volumes are also a problem in parts of the Côte de Nuits where the Asian vinegar fly impact was at its worst. Some growers feel that 2014 can be compared to vintages like 2008 but with more weight (for whites) or 2012, 2000 or 1999 for red. In any case, the quality and style of 2014 will bring hugely pleasurable drinking over the short to medium term. For our Burgundy 2014 En Primeur offer, we are pleased to say that we have once again managed to reduce our pricing in many instances, thanks to a restrained approach from a number of growers in tandem with a beneficial movement in the / exchange rate. 5 H2Vin Ltd, Southbank House, Black Prince Road, London SE1 7SJ Tel Fax Burgundy 2014 En Primeur Offer Chablis Domaine Billaud Simon Bernard Billaud had brought this fine domaine right to the very forefront of quality Chablis producers before selling the estate to the highly regarded family-owned Burgundy producer Faiveley in July Massive investment in a new winery in the 1990s ensured that the domaine has first-rate tools to coax the best out of the fruit from their excellent clutch of Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. Faiveley are determined to safeguard and respect the individuality of the Billaud-Simon wines, but are also striving to achieve even higher levels of quality going forward. To taste these wines is to have a real education in the meaning of variety in Chablis terroirs. The 2014s certainly maintain Billaud-Simon s great reputation and will evolve into fine Crus relatively early after bottling. Elegance, style and restraint are the hallmarks here. 1. Chablis 1 er Cru Les Vaillons Chablis 1 er Cru Mont de Milieu Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir (6x75cl)

Domaine Moreau Naudet Stéphane Moreau is a young and extremely passionate winemaker with 13.5 hectares under vine, including a tiny 1 hectare parcel in Les Pargues planted with 50 year old vines which have the same exposure as Vaillons and Montmains. His style reminds us very much of that of Vincent Dauvissat, with extreme purity and intensity. One of his mentors was Didier Dagueneau and it shows, mainly in the precision and razor sharp flavours of his wines, but also in the quirky packaging. 4. Chablis Vieilles Vignes Pargues Chablis 1 er Cru Forêts Chablis 1 er Cru Vaillons Chablis Grand Cru Valmur (6x75cl) Domaine Long Depaquit Founded in 1791, this excellent Chablis estate is owned by the family-run Burgundy House of Albert Bichot. The striking château is located at the heart of the town itself and it is here that the fruit from its 65 hectares are vinified. All their vines are tended according to environmentally friendly principles. Restricted yields and noninterventionist winemaking add to the quality was their first vintage with new cellar installations the greater press capacity and fermentation tanks allow for more precision in vinifying and retaining the individual expression of each cru. The régisseur, Matthieu Mangenot, feels that his 2014s will bring early pleasure thanks to their vivid freshness, elegance and purity. That being said, these wines also show excellent minerality and concentration, as well as bright acidity, which will enable them to age well over the medium to longer term. Stand-outs for us were, once again, the refined 1 er Cru Les Vaucopins, the intense, minerally-driven Les Vaudésirs Grand Cru, the tightly woven, complex yet vigorously saline Les Clos Grand Cru and the layered, deeply complex and energising La Moutonne Grand Cru. 8. Chablis 1 er Cru Les Vaucopins Chablis Grand Cru Les Vaudésirs (6x75cl) Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos (6x75cl) Chablis Grand Cru La Moutonne (6x75cl) Mâconnais Domaine Christophe Cordier Christophe Cordier is a multi-talented winemaker. After establishing the 25ha family domaine as the leader in the region, he started a small négoce, buying the best grapes sourced locally from some of the finest, very old vineyards. He prefers to use traditional winemaking techniques to produce his classically elegant wines. 12. Mâcon Aux Bois d Allier 76.00

With prime parcels of vines spread across the Côte de Beaune, Justin practices traditional Burgundian techniques to produce deeply concentrated wines with superb balance and rich fruit character. 19. Santenay Blanc Les Terrasses de Bievaux Bourgogne Rouge Santenay Rouge Vieilles Vignes Santenay Rouge 1 er Cru Clos Rousseau Santenay Rouge 1 er Cru Beauregard Jean Philippe Fichet Jean-Philippe Fichet is surely one of the hardest working producers in Burgundy. His manicured vineyards produce great quality fruit and with his years of experience, Jean-Philippe is making classic but refined white Burgundies with great terroir definition. The domaine has been producing truly exceptional wines, particularly in the last few years, with many well deserved accolades. 24. He s working 8 hectares and has already established himself as one of the young stars of the appellation. His style is different from his father, in being slightly leaner and tighter, and closer to the modern interpretation of white Burgundy. 38. 9 Domaine Marc Morey Son-in-Law to Marc Morey, Bernard Mollard has successfully held the reins of this family-owned 9 hectare estate for a number of years. His steady, very reliable winemaking expertise continues to evolve increasingly in the hands of his daughter Sabine, ensuring a constancy of quality year after year despite the vagaries of the climatic conditions each vintage. Bernard told us that his overall crop volume was correct and therefore an improvement on 2013 and 2012.The wines show a marked finesse and charm in 2014; elegant and wellbalanced. Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru Les Vergers bristles with tension and nervous energy, with its habitually keen-edged personality clearly evident once again. Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru En Virondot marries a fine concentration of fruit with excellent tension. Puligny-Montrachet 1 er Cru Les Referts shows a classic profile of delicate white floral notes with a fine mineral precision. 48. Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru Les Vergers Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru En Virondot Puligny Montrachet 1 er Cru Les Referts Domaine Hubert Lamy, Olivier Lamy Olivier Lamy is one of the brightest young stars in the Côte de Beaune, following in the footsteps of his father Hubert Lamy by joining him at the family domaine. He has succeeded in putting Saint Aubin on the map, almost equal to the famous neighbouring appellations of Chassagne and Puligny. A very hard worker and one of the first to understand that most of the work has to be done in the vineyard, he is making racy wines with great acidity and length, always punching well above their weight. 51. Saint Aubin Blanc La Princée Saint Aubin Blanc 1 er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard Saint Aubin Blanc 1 er Cru En Remilly Saint Aubin Blanc 1 er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard Haute Densité (Extremely Limited) Puligny Montrachet Les Tremblots Haute Densité (Extremely Limited) Saint Aubin Rouge 1 er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard

Domaine Blain-Gagnard The quietly-spoken, charming Jean-Marc Blain, married to Claudine (daughter of the late Jacques Gagnard), fashions Chassagne crus of delicacy and finesse. His wines seduce the palate with their elegance and subtlety, rather than weight and richness. Jean-Marc is very pleased with his 2014s thanks to their freshness, purity and bright fruit. His hard work throughout the growing season and intuitive timing of the harvest were key to this success, resulting in more fruit concentration than 2013 allied to an impeccable definition of each terroir. We particularly liked his tightly-focused, chiselled, yet floral 1 er Cru Clos St Jean. Jean-Marc s 1 er Cru Les Caillerets marries a subtle note of white flowers with a hint of bread brilliantly, culminating in a palate-pleasing salinity on the finale. His Grand Crus marry richness with a telling restraint and to fine effect. 57. Chassagne Montrachet Chassagne Montrachet 1 er Cru Clos St Jean Chassagne Montrachet 1 er Cru Les Caillerets Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru (6x75cl) Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard Richard Fontaine and his wife Laurence, daughter of Jacques Gagnard, run this highly regarded 12 hectare estate with the increasing support of their daughter Céline. The perpetual quest to refine even further the quality of their already superb range of Chassagne-Montrachet 1 er Crus wines continues unabated. Not to be missed are their superb Grand Cru whites, which exhibit incredible purity, balance and terroir-definition. Richard is very pleased with the overall quality of his 2014s, all of which exhibit plenty of vigour, intensity and typicité. 1 er Cru La Grande Montagne offers plenty of stone fruits and mineral structure; 1 er Cru Les Vergers, as ever, is more nervy, tense and finely etched; 1 er Cru Les Caillerets is supremely elegant with a pristine linearity, whilst 1 er Cru La Romanée brings an almost Grand Cru gravitas and scale. The Grand Crus themselves exude class, refinement, intensity and a signature vibrancy and equilibrium. 61. Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru La Grande Montagne Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru Les Vergers Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru Les Caillerets Chassagne Montrachet Blanc 1 er Cru La Romanée Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru (6x75cl) Criots Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru (6x75cl)

Domaine Philippe Chavy Philippe Chavy took over the reins of this wealthy domaine from his father in 2002 with a little more than 3 hectares of prime vineyard sites. The domaine now extends to just over 8 hectares, with some 30 individual parcels scattered throughout the neighbouring villages of Puligny-Montrachet (from his father s side of the family) and Meursault (through his mother s side). Soil is worked by ploughing; there is strictly no use of herbicides or insecticides and for several years Philippe has followed the lunar calendar cycles when determining work in the vineyards and cellars. He produces a very neat Bourgogne Blanc sourced from 4 parcels, mainly Puligny; a finely-etched Meursault Blagny 1 er Cru Sous le Dos d Ane shows a vibrant, almost saline minerality ; a precise, floral Puligny-Montrachet Les Corvées des Vignes from vines that lie very close to Meursault and Meursault 1 er Cru Charmes, and an impressively stylish Puligny-Montrachet 1 er Cru Folatières offering texture, intensity and tightly-wound stone fruit. 67. Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay Puligny Montrachet Les Corvées des Vignes Meursault Blagny 1 er Cru Sous le Dos d Ane Puligny Montrachet 1 er Cru Les Folatières Domaine Darviot-Perrin Didier and Geneviève Darviot are quintessential vignerons; as a husband and wife team they oversee every phase of the winemaking procedure from pruning and ploughing to racking the casks and bottling on their own premises - minimal intervention is key. Internationally considered one of the finest sources of domainebottled Burgundies, the 11 hectare property is one of the very few to own vines in the three top 1 er Cru vineyards of Meursault: Perrières, Genevrières and Charmes. In addition, they also own vines in Chassagne 1 er Cru Blanchots-Dessus, which abuts Le Montrachet and Criots-Bâtard Montrachet. Didier is, without doubt, a winemaker of prodigious talent, describing the resulting quality of the 2014 vintage as being highly promising and very attractive with excellent balance, fine tension and purity. 71. Meursault Clos de la Velle Meursault 1 er Cru Les Charmes Meursault 1 er Cru Les Genevrières Meursault 1 er Cru Perrières Volnay Les Blanches

Domaine Patrick Javillier The ever thoughtful, precisely spoken Patrick Javillier runs his 9 hectare family-owned domaine based in Meursault with quiet diligence. He is a great believer in vinifying his parcels separately, all with long ageing on the lees. A deft touch of new oak on certain cuvées only adds to the sense of sensitive winemaking. Patrick particularly likes the balance of his 2014s, which exhibit a more complex typicité than Hail on the Volnay side of the village caused significant loss, but overall the impact was less than in some recent years. His very Meursault-esque Bourgogne Oligocène combines chalky elegance and restrained texture; Meursault Tillets is all about floral finesse and elegance; Meursault Tête de Murger brings more concentration and weight, yet still with precision and poise. Patrick s very fine Corton-Charlemagne oozes class, marrying subtle notes of acacia flowers, hazelnut and heady ripe pear. Refined, bristling yet luxurious. 76. Bourgogne Blanc Oligocène Meursault Tillets Meursault Tête de Murger Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru (6x75cl) Domaine du Pavillon This fine 18 hectares estate in Pommard is entirely owned by the increasingly highly regarded Maison Albert Bichot. Respectful of the environment and diligent in both vineyard and cellar, the domaine has fashioned a range of impressive 2014s including a refined, seamlessly balanced Meursault 1 er Cru Charmes, a mineral, elegant Beaune 1 er Cru Clos des Mouches and a tightly-wound, tense, complex Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru. As for the red offerings, two crus stood out: firstly the monopole Aloxe Corton 1 er Cru Clos des Maréchaudes combining finely sculpted tannins with poise, restraint and of good typicité and secondly the multi-layered, darkly expressive, structured Pommard 1 er Cru Rugiens. 80. Meursault 1 er Cru Charmes Beaune Blanc 1 er Cru Clos des Mouches Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru (6x75cl) Aloxe Corton 1 er Cru Clos des Maréchaudes (Monopole) Pommard 1 er Cru Rugiens

Nicolas Rossignol Nicolas Rossignol established his domaine in 1997, starting out with 3 hectares of vines spread across the principal red wine villages of the Côte de Beaune. Later acquisitions in Savigny-lès-Beaune in 2005 effectively doubled his holdings. Further purchases brought his total to 16 hectares. His superbly equipped cellar in central Beaune allows him to vinify by terroir and by parcel. Such was the brutality of the hail this year, especially in Pommard and Volnay where Nicolas vineyards are located, his volumes in 2014 are, once again, significantly reduced (30% losses overall).the quality though is striking with plenty of vigorous juicy fruit, elegance, poise and aromatic refinement throughout. The tannins are finely sculpted, whilst the fruit is vibrant and precise. 85. Volnay Pommard Les Vignots Volnay 1 er Cru Santenots Volnay 1 er Cru Chevrets Volnay 1 er Cru Ronceret Domaine Henri Boillot Henri Boillot is a benchmark Côte de Beaune producer, renowned for the exceptional quality of his wines. Using parcels of vines which are more than 60 years old, including the domaine s exclusive and highly sought-after monopole Puligny Montrachet 1 er Cru Clos de la Mouchère, his seriously impressive wines exhibit an intense minerality, elegant structure and have the potential to age for many years. 90. 14 Domaine Joseph Voillot This fine family-owned domaine, comprising 9 hectares of vines, has been run impeccably since 1995 by Jean- Pierre Charlot, son-in-law of Joseph Voillot who sadly passed away in July Over recent years Jean-Pierre has refined the quality and style of wines produced here. Sustainable viticulture holds sway. He has dispensed with the inclusion of stems as he prefers the essence of fruit, and he has shortened the length of time the wines spend in barrel typically months followed by 1 month in stainless steel prior to bottling. Jean-Pierre has also reduced the percentage of new oak - now 10-20% depending on the cru. He prefers a light filtration but no fining. Volnay Vieilles Vignes is sourced from 8 parcels totalling nearly 2 hectares with an average vine age of almost 50 years, especially lieux-dits Famines, Gigotte, Pasquier, Grands Poisots and Petits Poisots. Volnay 1 er Cru Les Champans covers 1.7 hectares with vines dating from 1934, 1971, and The wine typically has more fruit and power than other Voillot Volnay crus. Jean-Pierre is highly enthusiastic about the quality of his 2014s but, once again, the hail impact was severe with losses varying between 40-80% depending on the cru. 98. Volnay Vieilles Vignes Volnay 1 er Cru Champans Pommard Pommard 1 er Clos Micault Pommard 1 er Rugiens Domaine de Courcel Created at the beginning of the 16th century, this 10 hectare domaine is planted exclusively in the village of Pommard. Since 1996 the winemaking has been carried out by Yves Confuron (of Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot in Vosne Romanée) and the wines have definitely stepped up a gear in quality. It is the combination of old vines, great plots, low yields and a restrained use of new oak, which make De Courcel Pommards the truly exceptional wines they are today Pommard Vaumuriens TBC 104. 15 Domaine Edmond Cornu Now in the capable hands of Pierre Cornu, Domaine Edmond Cornu is one of the vanguards of quality winemaking in the Ladoix appellation, which includes part of the Grand Cru Corton vineyard (the rest lying within the commune of Aloxe-Corton). Pierre is highly dedicated in his desire to make the best wines possible given the terroir and the vines in his ownership. The estate extends over 14ha across Villages, 1 er and Grand Crus, both red and white. The wines are particularly well made, showing finesse, character and sculpted tannins, also offering excellent value. We have selected 2 of Pierre s 2014s: Ladoix Blanc is all freshness and poise; Ladoix Rouge 1 er Cru Les Carrières shows good depth of spiced plum fruit with a tight mineral core Ladoix Blanc Ladoix Rouge Les Carrières Côte de Nuits Roche de Bellene Maison Roche de Bellene is the négociant business of Nicolas Potel. A dynamic and highly talented winemaker, Nicolas originally cut his teeth at Domaine de La Pousse d Or in Volnay, which at the time was run by his father Gérard Potel. Following several years work as a négociant, Nicolas set up this latest venture in 2008, sourcing grapes for his extensive range of wines from quality-minded growers, many of whom he has collaborated with for over 15 years and work in an environmentally respectful fashion. His current range, offering wines crafted from some of the finest vineyards in the Côte d Or, is a roll-call of top crus and appellations. 16 Marchand-Tawse With over 25 years of winemaking experience at renowned Burgundy domaines such as Comte Armand and Domaine de la Vougeraie, and as a consultant in Chile, California, Canada and Australia, Pascal Marchand possesses a deep understanding of terroir-driven wines. At the beginning of 2006, he created his new micronégociant label, producing almost 1,000 cases from 7 different wines, mainly from the Côte de Nuits, for his first vintage. He now offers in excess of 40 different appellations from the Côte de Nuits, as well as a smattering of wine from the Côte de Beaune. His fruit is sourced from growers he knows well and in whom he has total confidence. All of his wines originate from vineyards with a minimum vine age of 35 years. Some of his growers are certified organic; some are organic in ethos but work without certification. All though are highly dedicated to quality. Pascal s partnership with his long-time friend Moray Tawse marks a commitment to crafting wines that are amongst the finest expression of Burgundy s most celebrated terroirs Bourgogne Pinot Noir 47 N Côte de Nuits Villages Marsannay Chambolle Musigny Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru (6x75cl) Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl) Nuits St Georges 1 er Cru Les Damodes Confuron-Cotetidot In charge of Domaine de Courcel during the mornings, Yves Confuron returns to look after the family domaine, Confuron-Cotetidot, for the rest of the day, helped by his brother Jean-Pierre who also vinifies wines for Domaine Chanson. With a history stretching back to the mid 19th century, the domaine had been in the hands of the Freund family (originally from Koblenz in Germany) since In April last year it was purchased by LVMH, yet the winemaking responsibility and general management of the domaine remains with the very gentle, hospitable Thierry Brouin who has been in situ since 1979 (36 vintages!). The quality of the 2014s shines brightly another undoubted success here. The Morey St Denis AC is a superb blend of fruit from various lieux-dits, namely La Riotte, Clos Solon, Les Larreys and La Bidaude (just above the Grand Cru Clos des Lambrays itself) Morey St Denis Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru (6x75cl)

Domaine Rossignol-Trapet The 14 hectare Domaine Rossignol-Trapet was created as recently as 1990 when the original Louis Trapet vineyard holdings were divided between his daughter and his son-in-law Jacques Rossignol. Since then Jacques two sons, Nicolas and David, have gradually taken over the reins of the business. The domaine has been certified 100% biodynamic since With vineyards spread equally across village, 1 er and Grand Cru holdings in Gevrey Chambertin, the domaine offers a fascinating insight into the sheer variety of flavours that this famous Burgundy village can muster. The brothers are very pleased with their 2014s which reflect their very precise origins with clarity and elegance. They prefer to harvest later and use less new oak as their aim is to achieve fruit sweetness rather than oak sweetness. Typically the village wine matures in 10-15% new oak, the 1 er Crus 25% new oak & the Grands Crus 50% new oak. In the cellar, too, he is mindful of not overworking the wines, preferring to work with gravity (i.e. gently). Jean-Marc destems all his fruit. Nothing is excessive. 19 Dufouleur Frères Not to be confused with Dufouleur Père et Fils whose cellars are also found on the main route out towards Dijon, Dufouleur Frères is an artisan family domaine and winery operating from their château in Nuits-Saint- Georges. It s not that the two cellars aren t historically connected in some way - both claim proof of ancestry dating back to 1596, spanning some 12 generations. Cousins François-Xavier (FX to all who have met him) and Marc Dufouleur are gradually wrestling power from their elders, having finally convinced the family that they should once more farm and control their own parcels. It s a slow and complex procedure, but since the 2008 vintage existing contracts have ended or been annulled, and Marc and FX are now focused on growing and making small-scale domaine-owned wines Nuits St Georges Gevrey Chambertin Combe Dessus Vosne-Romanée Les Jacquines Nuits St Georges 1 er Cru Les Saint Georges Clos-Vougeot Grand Cru Grand Maupertui (6x75cl) Domaine du Clos Frantin Wholly owned by the respected family-run Burgundian house Albert Bichot, this fine single estate is located in Nuits-St.-Georges and comprises 13 hectares of prime Côte de Nuits vineyards, of which 8 hectares are Premier and Grand Cru vineyards. Respect for the soils, rigorous pruning and green harvesting all help in ensuring the final quality of the fruit. Vinification and maturation are carried out gently and respectfully, adapting techniques to complement the fruit style of each particular vintage we tasted the entire range of Premier and Grand Crus in the extensive Bichot cellars in Beaune. The elegance, balance and distinctive expressions of the 2014 vintage shine through in all the crus. Fine aromatic fragrances abound, alongside precisely etched tannins allowing the typicité of the appellations to be clearly appreciated. Another noteworthy success in Vosne Romanée 1 er Cru Les Malconsorts Clos Vougeot Grand Cru (6x75cl) Echézeaux Grand Cru (6x75cl) Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl) 1, Richebourg Grand Cru (6x75cl) 1,950.00

Maison Albert Bichot With a history stretching back to 1350 the Bichot family have deep roots in the region. Now headed by Albéric Bichot, the 6 th generation of the family, the company has gone from strength to strength, with quality and authenticity the watchwords. As well as being proprietors of their own 100ha of vineyards, including Domaine Long-Depaquit in Chablis, Domaine du Pavillon in Pommard and Domaine Clos du Frantin in Nuits-St-Georges, Bichot also vinify wines from a further 50ha under their négociant label. Diligence throughout, be it in the vineyards under the stewardship of Christophe Cavel or in the cellars under the steady-handed guidance of Alain Serveau, ensures that the quality competes with many of the very finest producers in Burgundy. Recent and growing recognition as well as numerous international awards are thoroughly merited. We have selected just 3 wines from the portfolio this year: 2 originate from Chambolle-Musigny, the 1 er Cru Les Chabiots offers a floral bouquet and refined, creamy tannins, whilst the 1 er Cru Les Amoureuses is worthy of the elevated praise so regularly lavished on this fine cru. Crammed with heady scented aromatics, the palate is tense and energetic with a teasing minerality at its core. The final selection is the very stylish, sophisticated Grand Cru Latricières Chambertin that marries complexity with structure and refinement Chambolle Musigny 1 er Cru Les Chabiots Chambolle Musigny 1 er Cru Les Amoureuses (6x75cl) Latricières Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl) Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot This fine domaine was purchased in 2014 by the highly respected family-owned and run Domaine Faiveley. Didier Chevillon remains as a consultant winemaker until 2016, working alongside the Faiveley winemakers to ensure that the style and personality of the wines remains intact. Faiveley have confirmed that they will respect the previous quality and individuality of the wines whilst also declaring an intention to lavish even more care on and dedication to the wines future reputation. Evolution and refinement are the future priorities for Faiveley. With vineyard holdings totalling almost 20 hectares in top Premier Crus and Grand Crus, it is not surprising that Faiveley saw the attraction! The er and Grand Crus show excellent vigour, intensity and authenticity Gevrey Chambertin 1 er Cru Cazetiers Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl) Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl)

Domaine Humbert Emmanuel and Frédéric Humbert are the 4 th generation of vignerons to tend this family owned and run estate. Since taking over the helm from their parents in 1989, they have been steadily improving the quality of their wines, with an emphasis on low yields and manual methods including ploughing and green harvesting. All wines are aged in Châtillonnais oak: 100% new oak for the 1 er and Grands Crus and 33/50% new oak for Gevrey- Chambertin Vieilles Vignes. Today they produce wines which reflect their dedicated effort and experience. Emmanuel is the dynamic force behind this domaine - he is a thoughtful and passionate man with a great love for wine, food and rugby Gevrey Chambertin 1 er Cru Poissenot Gevrey Chambertin 1 er Cru Petite Chapelle Gevrey Chambertin 1 er Cru Estournelles St Jacques Domaine Marc Roy Located in the heart of Gevrey Chambertin, Domaine Marc Roy has passed from father to son for generations, yet the winemaking is now carried out by Marc's only daughter Alexandrine. She has made a huge impact on the domaine, having previously spent time in other classic Pinot growing regions, such as Oregon and Central Otago N.Z. Although Alexandrine has no Grand or 1 er Crus, her village wines are of a particularly high quality coming from very old vines (70 years of age for the Vieilles Vignes) Marsannay Blanc Les Champs Perdrix Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes Gevrey Chambertin La Justice Gevrey Chambertin Clos Prieur Gevrey Chambertin Cuvée Alexandrine

Domaine Georges Lignier Benoît Stehly, nephew of Georges Lignier, has run the estate since 2008 after working at the domaine for a decade alongside his uncle. His approach is very delicate, seeking maximum aromatic concentration, and quality has improved dramatically as a result. At the Villages level, the wines are matured in used oak barrels, while 1 er Crus see 30% new oak and Grand Crus 50% new oak. Benoît s deep respect for tradition and expressing terroir ensures that his wines evoke their precise origins with clarity and poise. The domaine has an enviable 16ha spread of 50 vineyard parcels, including top Grand Crus. At 1.5ha, they are the largest owner of Clos Saint- Denis and control over a hectare of Clos de la Roche. We have selected a small number of wines to showcase their 2014s, including their excellent Morey St Denis of marked elegance, a wonderfully aromatic, minerallydriven Morey St Denis 1 er Cru Clos des Ormes, an enchanting Clos St Denis Grand Cru laden with notes of floral black tea and a more tightly-coiled, morello-fruited Clos de la Roche Grand Cru of much class Morey St Denis Morey St Denis 1 er Cru Clos des Ormes Clos St Denis Grand Cru (6x75cl) Clos de la Roche Grand Cru (6x75cl) Domaine Taupenot Merme We re very pleased to start working with the up and coming Domaine Taupenot Merme. Romain Taupenot has elevated his domaine to the very best in the village and recent journalists comments on his wines are testament of the quality achieved here Auxey Duresses Blanc Gevrey Chambertin Chambolle Musigny Morey St Denis 1 er Cru La Riotte Nuits-St-Georges 1 er Cru Les Pruliers Gevrey Chambertin 1 er Cru Bel Air Chambolle Musigny 1 er Cru Combe d Orveau Corton Le Rognet Grand Cru (6x75cl) Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl) Mazoyères Chambertin Grand Cru (6x75cl) Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru (extremely limited) (6x75cl)

Domaine Robert Groffier Founded by Frederic Groffier in the 19 th Century, Domaine Robert Groffier remains family run with Robert s son Serge and grandson Nicolas now at the helm. Most of the domaine s vineyards are located in Chambolle- Musigny producing powerful, deeply coloured wines which are true expressions of the terroir. Groffier also produces a wonderfully complex Bonnes Mares Grand Cru, which has impressive finesse, ripe fruits and an elegant structure. Nicolas confirmed that his crop yields overall were correct, highlighting the need to pick fast when the ideal moment arrived on 15 th and 16 th September. He describes the vintage as being most attractive with marked freshness. He likens 2014 to 2012, 2000 and Bourgogne Passetoutgrains TBC 199. Bourgogne Pinot Noir TBC 200.
