Note This Metadata Sensitivity setting takes effect only upon restarting the Server. Upgrading from Version 5.2.0c or 5.2.0d to Version 5.2.0e To upgrade from version 5.2.0c or 5.2.0d to version 5.2.0e, you need to obtain the following file (note that this upgrade file can be used to upgrade from any 5.1.0x version, as well as 5.2.0x version, to 5.2.0e version): FxV-5.1.0x-5.2.0e-upgrade.x86_64.runx Important No captured data is lost during this upgrade. To upgrade the FxV appliance from version 5.2.0c or 5.2.0d to version 5.2.0e: 1 Log in to the FxV browser interface. 2 On the menu bar, click Configure > Superuser Tasks. 3 Click Upgrade Appliance(s). 4 Using the Browse button, navigate to and select the following upgrade file on your local machine: FxV-5.1.0x-5.2.0e-upgrade.x86_64.runx as the Script File. 5 Click OK. The upgrade file is uploaded and verified. 6 Select a specific Upgrade Time to schedule when the upgrade should be applied, or accept its default (Now) which applies the upgrade immediately. 7 To apply the upgrade, click OK. Note Shortly after clicking OK, the browser displays an error screen (or a blank page). This is normal and is due to the fact that you have just rebooted the machine that is running the FxV browser interface.

25 Upgrading the Foglight Experience Viewer to the Latest Version 25 Upgrading from Version 5.2.0c or 5.2.0d to Version 5.2.0e 8 Wait several minutes for the appliance to update and then restart. 9 Log in to the FxV browser interface. 10 On the menu bar, click Help > About. 11 In the dialog box that opens, verify that the FxV version number displayed is 5.2.0e. The system software is now updated.
