Previous recommendations by the Structural Engineer have been to avoid coring holes through any structural beams. Please see attached sketches with a proposed new stack location for Unit x11. The new electrical panel "X11" may need to shift approximately 2 feet in the same wall. Please confirm this new stack location will be acceptable and issue an updated A.4-011, P-204, and E-311. If not, please provide a location to avoid coring through structural beams. Suggestion: Note that the electrical panel on this wall still requires a depth of 3-5/8" per RFC #010 R1. We do not plan on reutilizing the existing jamb for the walk-in-closet door T26, so the door opening can be shifted down if need be. Answer: Date Answered: 02/17/2010 Response from Mike DFDA dated 01/29/2010: This proposed modification, i.e.; relocating the panel for Unit 11 a couple of feet, has no impact on the electrical system. If the plumbing stack is relocated as shown, then this change should be noted on the "As-Built" drawings. There is no need to re-issue the electrical drawings. Response from Joe Arc Pac dated 02/03/2010: We take no exception to proposed solution, and will show revised stack location on plan updates in progress per your request.
