Based at Bucks New University, the media centre was opened in October 2009 and houses the latest state of the art equipment in a modern and contemporary environment. 5 Film production options We offer industry standard cameras, sound equipment and lighting, all of which can be configured for use in our studios or out on location. We also offer multi camera production, including live or preproduced audio tracks. 6 Film studio facilities We have a choice of studio spaces available for hire that include audio-visual editing suites, which feature Final Cut Pro/Studio, Avid and other audio-visual sequencer/plug-ins and related software on MacPros. The suites are acoustically treated, sympathetically lit and situated in aesthetically pleasing post production spaces. 7 Film Studio 1 Film Studio 1 is 100m 2 in size, and is an HD triax-based multi camera facility with optional use of a large green screen (2 x 8m/9m walls and full floor covering + infinity cove). 9 Film Studio 3 Film studio 3 is our largest studio space. Also known as the Drama studio, this flexible studio can be configured for performance or film and audio capture. The space has full overhead gallery lighting and can be supplied with flexible seating for up to 50 people for performances, or with any combination of drapes when filming. 10 Audio recording options We have a state of the art recording centre here at Bucks New University. The recording centre is comprised of four fully equipped control rooms, plus two large, linked live rooms, as well as three live vocal/ overdub booths. The studios can be hired throughout the summer months and can also include one of our experienced engineers to support your own producer or engineer. 11 Recording studio 1 Studio 1 is 38m 2 in size and is connected to a 48m 2 live area and a 18m 2 live booth. Other live rooms and booths can be connected by prior arrangement with the Studio Manager. The control room has sight lines to Studio 3, Live Rooms 1 & 2, and Live Booths 1 & 3. 13 Recording Studio 3 Recording Studio 3 has a control room of 25m 2 and is connected to a 20m 2 live area. Other live rooms and booths can be connected by prior arrangement with the studio Manager. 17 Express Business video This video package is perfect for businesses who need a sales presentation, social media ad or training video. Our Film team will come to your business, film for up to three hours and post-produce the video here at the University. We ensure a fast turn around so that you have the finished product in front of your audience as soon as possible. Sports and Events video Our multi camera film production team can film and post-produce a first class video of your event. We capture the action on broadcast quality cameras, providing you with a commercial quality master that you can then use for DVD, TV or online.
