2 WARNINGS Allow 14 days between last application and harvest of apricots, apples, peaches, pears and plums. Handle with care. Poisonous when absorbed through skin or swallowed or inhaled. Toxic to fish, bees and wildlife. Store out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals away from food and feedstuffs in cool, dry place. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions; compatibility with other substances not indicated on the label and the occurrence of resistance of the disease against the remedy concerned as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier or registration holder in the event of any uncertainty. PRECAUTIONS Do not inhale dust or spray mist Wash with soap and water after use. Wash contaminated clothing daily. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst mixing, applying or before washing hands and face. Avoid drift of spray onto other crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not under treatment. Clean applicator after use and dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate the environment. 1

3 Rinse empty container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank before destroying the container in the prescribed manner. When packed in a bag shake out the empty bag into the spray tank before destroying it. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as indicated COMPATIBILITY Compatible at the recommended application rates with most of the commonly used fungicides, insecticides and acaricides. It is not compatible with lime. MIXING INSTRUCITONS Mix the required quantity of THIRAM 750 WP with a little water to form a thick cream. Stir well. Keep tank mixture agitated during application. It is not recommended for pre-blossom application. Commence spraying at ¾ petal drop and repeat 2-4 applications at intervals of days. The number and intervals of applications depends on weather conditions, and also on the measure of success achieved in the control of primary infestation. Apply during the period beginning July to the time of bud swell. This spray must be preceded by a copper oxychloride spray during May. Apply at 50 % leaf drop (May) if infestation was high the previous season, as well as at bud swell stage. 2

Alhoewel hierdie middel omvattend onder n verskeidenheid toestande getoets is waarborg die registrasiehouer nie dat dit onder alle toestande doeltreffend sal wees nie aangesien die werking en effek daarvan beinvloed kan word deur faktore soos abnormale klimaats- en bergingstoestande; verenigbaarheid met ander stowwe wat nie op die etiket aangedui is nie en die voorkoms van weerstand van die siekte teen die betrokke middel sowel as die metode, tyd en akkuraatheid van toediening. Verder aanvaar die registrasiehouer nie verantwoordelikheid vir skade aan gewasse, plantegroei, die omgewing of vir nadelige effek op mens of dier of vir n gebrek aan prestasie van die betrokke middel as gevolg van die versuim van die gebruiker om etiketaanwysings na te kom of as gevolg van die ontstaan van toestande wat nie kragtens die registrasie voorsien kon word nie. Raadpleeg die verskaffer of registrasiehouer in die geval van enige onsekerheid. VOORSORGMAATREËL Moenie stof of spuitnewel inasem nie. Was met seep en water na gebruik. Was besoedelde klere daagliks. Moenie eet, drink of rook terwyl gemeng of toegedien word voordat hande en gesig gewas is nie. Verhoed oorwaai van stof of spuitnewel na ander gewasse, weiding, riviere, damme of gebiede nie onder behandeling nie. 4

Alhoewel hierdie middel omvattend onder n verskeidenheid toestande getoets is waarborg die registrasiehouer nie dat dit onder alle toestande doeltreffend sal wees nie aangesien die werking en effek

6 Spoel leë houer drie keer uit met n volume water gelykstaande aan n minimum van 10 % van die houer. Gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk voordat die houer op die voorgeskrewe wyse vernietig word. Indien in sakke verpak skud die sak deeglik uit in die spuittenk voordat dit vernietig word. Vernietig leë houer deur dit vol gate te maak en plat te slaan en moet nooit vir enige ander doel gebruik nie. Vermy besoedeling van kos, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei. GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: Gebruik alleenlik soos aangedui. VERENIGBAARHEID Mengbaar teen voorgeskrewe hoeveelhede met die meeste van die gewone swamdoders, insekmiddels en mytdoders. Is nie mengbaar met kalk nie. MENGINSTRUKSIES Meng benodigde hoeveelheid THIRAM 750 WP vooraf met n klein hoeveelheid water tot n room en voeg by res van water. Roer deeglik. Roer tenkmengsel gedurende toediening. GEWAS/SIEKTE APPELS EN PERE Skurfsiekte (Fusikladium) HOEVEELHEID WATER H.V 150 g (2,25-5,25 kg/ha) L.V. 1,8-4,2 kg/ha OPMERKINGS THIRAM 750 WP word veral aanbeveel vir nablom-bespuitings op appel- en peervarieteite wat vatbaar is vir koper- en swaelbeskadiging. Dit word nie aanbeveel vir voorblombehandeling nie. Die eerste bespuiting moet by driekwart blom-blaarval toegedien word en opgevolg word met 2-4 bespuitings met tussenposes van dae. Die hoeveelheid bespuitings en die tussenposes sal van die weersomstandighede en die sukses wat behaal is in die beheer van primêre besmettings afhang. 5

Indien in sakke verpak skud die sak deeglik uit in die spuittenk voordat dit vernietig word.

Hierdie bespuiting moet voorafgegaan word deur n Koperoksichloried bespuiting gedurende Mei. Bespuit met 50 % blaarval (Mei) indien infestasie hoog was die vorige seisoen, asook gedurende die knopswelstadium. 75 % Blaarval: Spuit 150g/100 spuitmengsel. Knopswel: spuit 200g/100 spuitmengsel. 90% Blomblaarval: Spuit 150g/100 spuitmengsel. Sal ook Groenvrot beheer. Herhaal met tussenposes van dae as die weer reënerig bly. Dien to by 95%-100% blomblaarval en herhaal 14 dae late. Word gewoonlik toegedien as deel van die Gomvlekbeheerprogram. Begin bespuiting wanneer 5 % van die bloeisels die ballonstadium bereik het en nie later as by die eerste tekens van oop bloeisels nie. Herhaal met tussenposes van 4-7 dae tot na blom. Soos vir groenvrot op appelkose. 6

Hierdie bespuiting moet voorafgegaan word deur n Koperoksichloried bespuiting gedurende Mei.
