13 Area of interest Clear focus on environmental biodegradable plastics, that are in line with the following criteria: Compostable polymers (according EN13432/14995, ASTM D 6400, ISO16929) designed to be composted in municipal and industrial aerobic composting facilities Based on renewable and non renewable resources Applied in packaging, catering or agriculture Available on the market on a medium to large scale

14 Transnational R&D scheme Thanks to cooperation between the R&D institutions a full range of support services and R&D activities will be offered to companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
