1 Koroška cesta Maribor, Slovenija 9 th Maribor International Summer School ASPECTS OF MIGRATION: HISTORICAL AND CURRENT University of Maribor, Faculty of Arts 3-10 July 2016 From 3 rd to 10 th July 2016, the Faculty of Arts at the University of Maribor will hold its 9 th International Summer School. The title of this year s summer school is ASPECTS OF MIGRATION: HISTORICAL AND CURRENT. The lectures and workshops will focus on the current migration crisis, highlighting it from different perspectives, as well as provide an insight into the phenomenon of migration from aspects such as historical, geographical, cultural, literary, philosophical... The summer school is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students of History, Geography, Sociology, Languages, Political Science, Philosohpy, Psychology, as well as to other students interested in the topic. The students will be awarded 3 ECTS for the full participation in the programme. The Summer School is free of charge! Accommodation, food, venue: Students will be accommodated in a student dorm in the centre of Maribor, at Tyrševa street. Full board will be provided. The lectures and workshops will take place in the main building of the University of Maribor (the Rectorate) at Slomškov trg 15 from Monday 4 th July to Friday 8 th July.
