3 A little more about us IWTS Ltd specialise in health and safety training in confined space entry, working at heights, water jetting and rescue Coordinating from the Oldham training centre in Lancashire, the IWTS team delivers effective training nationally across a comprehensive range of industrial health and safety training courses. The team has a solid in-depth background, enabling them to offer effective technical advice in areas such as safety equipment, health and safety consultancy and site safety audits. With training focused for both management and operatives from within the waste water industry for the major utilities, civils and the construction sector. In addition other sectors served, include local government and the fire services, government agencies, defence, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries to name a few. IWTS offers a range of highly specialist training courses tailored to meet client needs where they want, when they want. Delivering bespoke courses on-site if required, including weekends and evenings. Delegates attending courses will be trained to the highest possible standards in health and safety, where they will be made more aware of the hazards and risks associated with their working environments. Specifically they will learn how these should be controlled to comply with legislation, through practical guidance tutorials that are delivered to national occupational standards. The rig provides hands-on training to simulate a realistic working environment; with all equipment required for training of the highest standard available, sourced from leading manufacturers such as Dräger and Crowcon. To ensure all confined space entry and working at height gear is kept in optimum condition, it is serviced regularly by approved suppliers. Looking ahead as IWTS rolls out regionally across the UK. New centres will be to the same high standards with course delivery in modern state of the art training facilities.
