23 哈 维 中 文 学 校 Howard County Chinese School Howard County Chinese School (HCCS) was established in December 1998 as a nonprofit, nonpolitical, non-religious Chinese language school. It is currently located at the Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland and has over 1000 registered students. HCCS is a member of the Chinese School Association of the United States (CSAUS). Its mission is to encourage overseas Chinese language study, bring Chinese culture awareness, and provide a cultural and social platform for local community. In the past 15 years, with the great effort from Howard Country Chinese and local community, the HCCS has made significant progress in class scale, class variety, faculty quality and as well as the school management.
