4 Overall Proposal of The 2 nd China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo (Draft) General Requirements The 2 nd China-CEEC Investment and Trade Expo (herein after referred to as CEEC Expo) follows the Belt and Road Initiative and The Suzhou Guidelines for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries and takes the theme of Win-win cooperation through deepened cooperation. By staging forums, exhibitions, investment symposiums, and cultural exchanges, the Expo is expected to make an important platform for China-CEEC cooperation in all fronts and contribute to the implementation of the Belt & Road Initiative and further opening-up of the country. Activities 1. Meetings & Forums (1) The 3rd Meeting of the China-CEEC Investment Promotion Agencies Contact Mechanism Representatives from China and CEEC Investment Promotion Agencies will be invited to joint conferences to discuss the cooperation model under current contact framework, and how to promote bilateral investment, strengthen the cooperation of infrastructure construction. 5 (2) The 3 rd China (Ningbo)-CEEC Governors and Mayors Forum CEEC Governors and Mayors will be invited to discuss the cooperation and development between cities, and sign cooperation agreements. (Coordinator: Ningbo Municipal People s Government, Department of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial People s Government) (3) China-CEEC Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Dialogue. (Coordinator: General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China, Ningbo Municipal People s Government) (4) China-CEEC Overseas Chinese Groups and Leaders Summit. (Coordinator: Ningbo Overseas Chinese Affairs Office) 2. Investment Symposiums (1) The 2 nd China-CEEC Investment & Cooperation Symposium CEEC Investment Promotion Agencies will be invited to introduce their investment environments and policies, and have matchmaking meetings with Chinese companies. (Coordinator: Investment Promotion Agency of MOFCOM, Ningbo Municipal People s Government, Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Provincial People s Government) (2) The 3 rd China (Ningbo)-CEEC Cooperation Seminar for Chambers of Commerce Representatives of Chambers of CEEC and China will be invited to discuss cooperation potentials. 6 People s Government, CCPIT Zhejiang ) 3. Exhibitions and trade fair (1) CEEC Products Fair The Fair is to be held at Hall No.1 of Ningbo International Convention & Exhibition Center. The 5,000 sqm of exhibition area is available for about 240 standard booths. Each CEE country will have a National Booth to display their special products and offerings. (Coordinator: Trade Development Bureau of MOFCOM, Ningbo Municipal People s Government and Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Provincial People s Government) (2) China- CEEC High-tech Exhibition High-tech devices and models will be displayed at Hall No.6 with an area of 4,400 square meters covering China exhibition area and CEEC exhibition area. People-to-People Exchanges (1)The 3rd China (Ningbo)-CEEC Forum for Education Cooperation Educational departments of CEE Countries and cities will be invited to discuss cooperation opportunities in educational sector and sign cooperative agreements. (Coordinator: Ningbo Municipal People s Government, Department of Education of Zhejiang Provincial People s Government) (2)The 3rd China (Ningbo)-CEEC Tourism Cooperation Meeting Tourism departments of CEE Countries will be invited to introduce tourism projects and offerings and sign cooperative agreements.
