Entries arriving 1 5 days after the closing date: no late fee charged, venue and date requests may not be given if they become full (priority is given to entries arriving on time) Entries arriving 5 days to 2 weeks after the closing date: 50% late fee payable (entries received without this will be returned to the applicant), venue and date requests may not be given if they become full. Entries arriving later than 2 weeks after the closing date: 100% late fee chargeable, please contact your representative for availability. 2

3 Guide to applying for Trinity College London exams in London London Exam Information ) To obtain an entry form, please either contact your local representative or visit our website and click Music > Enter for a music exam. The grade and diploma entry forms are under the heading Music exam entry forms. 2) Please read the entry form carefully the notes explain clearly how to apply. 3) Specialist exam sessions are conducted by an examiner who specialises in a particular discipline of instrument, eg woodwind, strings, etc. General exam sessions are mixed discipline sessions. Both are open to all grades and instruments. 4) Please use a different entry form and cheque for different dates and venues. For specialist exam sessions, including Barbican London, each instrumental discipline, eg woodwind, strings, should be entered on a separate form. 5) When completing your entry form, please indicate your preferred venue. 6) It is wise to state an alternative venue choice in case your preferred date/venue is not available. Please note that exams will be organised according to demand and may not take place on every date during the advertised periods. If selecting an alternative venue choice please indicate this clearly on your entry form. 7) Requests for dates or times of day will be accommodated where possible. 8) Trinity College London reserves the right to alter the dates and venues published. 9) Appointment forms are sent around three weeks before the exams. Reports are usually sent out within 14 days of the exam. Certificates are normally sent 6 8 weeks (and no later than 12 weeks) after the end of the exam period. 10) Confirmation of receipt will be sent only where the relevant section of the entry form is completed and a stamped addressed envelope enclosed. or telephone confirmation cannot be made due to the high number of entries received. 11) Cheques should be made payable to Trinity College London. 12) Applications received once the closing date has passed are subject to a late entry fee (see late entry guide, page 2). 13) Alterations to the date/time of the exam cannot normally be made once appointment forms are sent. However, a transfer may be arranged, at the discretion of the representative, subject to availability and payment of a 50% transfer fee. 14) For other (Greater) London centres please see pages 22 and 23. Please check the requirements for your instrument in the syllabus with regards to equipment, eg keyboard stand, guitar footstool, amplifier, CD player, CD.
