1 Member Programs Our greatest allies in the fight against hunger are the more than 600 community-based programs that are on the frontline in the battle to provide nutritious food to thousands of families and individuals. The economy continues to challenge far too many of our neighbors who depend on these local food-assistance programs. Connecticut Food Bank provides food and other resources to more than 600 foodassistance programs such as soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries, and adult and child day care centers in six of Connecticut's eight counties: Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London and Windham. Through this network, we distributed more than 34 tons of food every business day. (F) Served by Connecticut Food Bank s Fairfield branch warehouse. (LF) Served by Connecticut Food Bank s subsidiary, Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, Stamford. (NL) Served by Connecticut Food Bank s subsidiary, the Gemma E. Moran/United Way Labor Food Center, New London. (W) Served by Connecticut Food Bank s Waterbury branch warehouse. All other programs are served by Connecticut Food Bank s East Haven (EH) warehouse.
