Business need The 400-person service delivery application development team within IBM Global Technology Services needed to increase execution speed and reduce costs associated with making application releases. Solution Using the DevOps approach, the team standardized on IBM Rational software, automated testing efforts and created virtual desktops and environments in the SoftLayer cloud infrastructure.
