We understand the need to access up-to-date information about your accounts at all times. With Business On Line, our dedicated online banking service for business customers, you can do your banking when it suits you - even when you re on the move. Business On Line (BOL) allows you to: View balances on accounts and credit cards Transfer funds between accounts and accept payments Make several payments at once, e.g. salary or creditor payments (BACS) Make forward-dated and international payments Print statements Export and import data to and from your accounting systems Chaps Payments (same day money transfers) Associated fees for these services are detailed on pages 5 & 6. 1

4 There is a choice of Business On Line packages to suit your business Basic - Service Level 1 View account balances and transactions Make account transfers Make 3rd party payments Create BACS** payments Cross Border - Service Level 2 All Service Level 1 benefits with the additional ability to: View currency balances and transactions Create inter account transfers and 3rd party currency payments Draw on FX currency contracts either on a same day or future dated basis Comprehensive - Service Level 3 All of Service Levels 1 and 2 benefits, with the additional ability to: Export data to other systems View debit and credit interest accrued on branch banking accounts Monthly subscription fees Service Level 1 10 Service Level 2 15 Service Level 3 40 Subscription charges for levels 1, 2 and 3 are free for 6 months for all new customers. Subscription charge for level 1 is free for 2 years for Essential for Business registered customers from the date of account opening. IBAN and Swift address or BIC The IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a standard term for quoting account numbers across Europe. The use of IBAN and the beneficiary s bank SWIFT address / BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is required to ensure correct identification of your beneficiary s bank account. b. Funds will be debited on value date and the beneficiary s bank will be credited 2 working days later. Please note the following conditions: 1. Third party foreign bank charges on returns and queries may apply. 2. Same Day relates to payments credited to the beneficiary s bank on the same day. 3. Branch cut-off times are available in our branches. 4. Business On Line (BOL) cut-off times are available on our BOL help screens or at 5. Cross Border Same Day credit transfers are available in certain currencies only and to certain countries only. Further information is available in branch. 6. 8 Safe and secure online banking Business On Line uses a proven security system so that your data is protected. 1. Every user is assigned a username and password to log on to Business On Line. 2. Business On Line allows you to choose which members of your team use the system and what level of authorisation is assigned to them. For instance, you may allow one user to set up a payment and another user to authorise it. 3. A digital certificate is needed to authorise payments - one of the most robust security mechanisms around. Beware of phishing To protect yourself against internet fraud, you should beware of phishing - fraudulent s that attempt to gain your account information. A phishing may appear to be from a Bank of Ireland Group company or another financial institution. It often attempts to direct you to a hoax website that looks similar to a legitimate site. You may be asked to submit your confidential account number or password to the hoax site. Please do not provide any information whatsoever. These s are fraudulent and are not from Bank of Ireland Group - we will never request customer information in this manner. 7
