6 Data capturing Several ways to capture data Data is pushed by a trading partner or PCS/BCS to the GLN (e.g. carrier data) Combination of push & pull : subscription request is sent, data is pushed later -> scalable Pull : data needs to be queried one time or on a regular time interval Data processing logic Data is received in various formats Data is mapped into standard message formats Data is processed by the data consolidation layer (part of the data pipeline and dashboard) New messages can be generated from the pipeline, combining data 6
