3 1 THE JOURNAL OF COMPARATIVE POLICY ANALYSIS (JCPA) MEMBERS AND PARTNERS ESTABLISHED IN 1998, THE JOURNAL OF COMPARATIVE POLICY ANALYSIS (JCPA) is the only explicit journal of comparative policy studies. It aims to stimulate the intellectual development of comparative policy studies and the growth of an international community of scholars who research the challenges and benefits of global inter- and intra-policy making. The journal invites manuscripts that make a significant contribution to the theory, methodology, and empirical analysis of comparative policy studies as well as their relation to public affairs, administration and management. Proposals for Special Issues and submissions to sections on a variety of topics and disciplines are encouraged. 7 5 WORKSHOPS, AWARDS AND SPECIAL ISSUES WORKSHOPS, AWARDS AND SPECIAL ISSUES WORKSHOPS, AWARDS AND SPECIAL ISSUES ANNUAL WORKSHOPS AND RESEARCH SYMPOSIA: Institutional members within our International Institutional Membership Program are invited to host yearly workshops or research symposia on a topic of their choosing related to the field of comparative public policy. These colloquia are co-sponsored by the Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis (JCPA) and the International Comparative Policy Analysis-Forum (ICPA-Forum). Articles presented at these workshops or symposia are subsequently considered for Special Issues of the JCPA, which are guest edited by the institutional representative who convenes the meeting. ICPA-FORUM ANNUAL AWARDS: The JCPA and ICPA-Forum sponsor annual awards serving our mission to promote and engage members in a dialogue on comparative policy analysis issues. The awards recognize excellence in the field of comparative policy analysis and provide a platform for the best scholarship presented at conferences hosted by our partnering organizations. Awards are granted annually for the BEST ARTICLE in the JCPA as well as for the best paper given at the respective conference the previous year and are selected by a co-organized adjudication committee with representatives from the JCPA/ ICPA-Forum and the partnering organization. Authors of winning papers are invited to submit their papers for a priority publication slot following the JCPA standard double-blind reviewing process.
