1 AgNW Consulting - Applicants must be Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington state. Parents/Guardians of the applicants must be employed in an entry level or lower level management position by a commercial grower or packer in Washington's tree fruit industries. Preference will be given to current or former graduates of Naches Valley High School students. One $1,000 scholarship Betty Campbell Loudon Memorial - This scholarship is awarded in honor of Betty Lou Campbell Loudon, a 50 year resident of the Wenatchee Valley and graduate of WSU. It is open to graduating seniors from Wenatchee or Eastmont high schools or college students from Chelan or Douglas counties graduating from Wenatchee Valley College. Students must be pursuing a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences or Education at Washington State University. Scholarship amount varies. Blue Bird, Inc./Garry Willams Memorial/Washington Cherry Growers - Open to graduating seniors whose parents/guardians, or applicant themselves, are employed by Washington Cherry Growers or whose parents/guardians are growers of Washington Cherry Growers. One $1000 scholarship. Blue Bird, Inc./Les Moser Memorial Community Service Award - Open to graduating seniors whose parents/guardians, or applicants themselves, are employed by Blue Bird, Inc. or whose parents/guardians are growers of Blue Bird, Inc. In recognition of Les strong presence in his community, applicants community and school involvement will be a strong award determinant. One $1000 scholarship. Bob McDougall Memorial - Scholarship is open to graduating seniors raised in tree fruit industry families from Chelan and Douglas counties pursuing an education at Wenatchee Valley College. Scholarship will be renewed for a second year at Wenatchee Valley College upon meeting renewal terms. One $2500 scholarship awarded annually, either as a first or second year scholarship. Borton & Sons - Open to graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college whose parents/guardians are employees of Borton & Sons (Borton Fruit Company). Applicants must plan to attend an accredited two- or four- year community college, university or technical/trade school within the territory of the United States. Number of awards vary. Brewster Chamber of Commerce- Annually the Brewster Salmon Derby draws anglers to the community. Funds raised through the event are utilized to support science and business educational pursuits of young people. This scholarship is open to graduating seniors of Brewster High School and Brewster Adventist School who will attend a two- or four-year college or university within Washington state. A strong preference will be given to applicants pursuing degrees aligned with the sciences or business. One $1000 scholarship. Brian Kershaw Memorial - Established in memory of Brian Kershaw, the scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in a two- or four- year college/university in Washington state. To qualify, applicant must be the child of parent(s) connected to Washington's tree fruit industry in the Yakima Valley. Preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in the marketing side of agriculture. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years, for students meeting the renewal qualifications.
2 Page 2 of 9 C.G. Robbins Memorial - C.G. Robbins was a beloved member of the Cowiche-Tieton community. This scholarship honors his memory by assisting graduates of his high school alma mater attend college. The scholarship is open to current graduates of Highland High School pursuing an undergraduate degree at Central Washington University or Yakima Valley Community College in education, medicine/athletics or agriculture or attending Perry Technical Institute. Two $1,500 scholarships. Carl Herke Memorial - Open to graduating seniors of Highland High School pursuing a vocational education at an accredited technical school or community college. One $1000 scholarship. CPC International Apple Company - Renewal: Scholarship is open to graduating seniors who are community college bound and whose parents are employed by CPC International or its farm locations. Scholarship may be renewed for up to one additional year upon meeting renewal requirements, including continued full-time enrollment at a Washington state community college. One $2500 scholarship. CPC International Apple Company - Single Year: Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university who have completed a minimum of one year of post high school accredited higher education and whose parents are employed by CPC International or its farm locations. One $2500 scholarship. Crane and Crane - Scholarship is open to the children of Crane and Crane, Inc. employees, or to graduates of Brewster, Pateros and Bridgeport high school if an employee child does not qualify. Qualified applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate education at a two- or fouryear college/university or accredited technical school. Scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive undergraduate years. One $1000 scholarship. Deborah Krautwurm Memorial/Wells Fargo Insurance Services - This scholarship is established by Wells Fargo Insurance Services. It is open to Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington. Applicants should be pursuing a degree compatible with service to the tree fruit industry and been raised in a family involved in the production side of the industry. One $2500 scholarship. Dick Clements Memorial - This scholarship is made in memory of Richard Dick Clements, a man known for his purpose, conviction and character and his devoted service to family, community, and tree fruit industry. The scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Central Washington who will attend Washington State University in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. Students from Yakima County will receive first consideration. The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years upon meeting terms of renewal. One award will be made yearly, either as a first year or renewal scholarship. Don Morse Memorial/Chelan Fruit - Open to graduating seniors whose parents are growers or employees of Chelan Fruit. Preference will be given to students preparing for a career in the tree fruit industry. Renewable for one additional consecutive year upon meeting terms of renewal. Two $1000 scholarships.
3 Page 3 of 9 Double Diamond Fruit. Scholarship is open to children of Double Diamond Fruit employees and the children of its growers employees. The award may be used at any accredited college or university in Washington state. One $1000 scholarship. Douglas Fruit - Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors from (Pasco, Chiawana, Connell, Othello, Kiona Benton, Richland, Kennewick, Kamiakin, Southridge, Hanford, Burbank, or Tri City Prep) whose parents are employed by Douglas Fruit Company or are involved in the tree fruit industry. One $2,000 scholarship to attend a two or four year college or university. E. Ralph & Ida Strausz Memorial - Recognizing the long standing relationship between the Strausz family, the Cowiche community and the Cowiche Growers, Inc., the Strausz family is offering this scholarship to a graduating senior of Highland High School (Cowiche/Tieton, WA) in memory of E. Ralph & Ida Strausz. One $500 scholarship. Eckberg Family - Open to graduating seniors and former Manson High School graduates. Priority will be given to students who have been raised in a family employed in the tree fruit industry. Student must attend an accredited two or four year college or university. Scholarship is renewable for three additional years, upon meeting renewal terms. Up to two awards will be funded each year. Two $4,000 scholarships. First Fruits Marketing of Washington- First Fruits Marketing of Washington has created a new scholarship open to employees and immediate family members of employees of First Fruits Marketing of Washington, Broetje Orchards, or Congdon Orchards. Applicants may be high school seniors, undergraduate or graduate students. The award may be used at any accredited two- or four-year community college, technical institution, university or graduate school. Successful candidates must have a deep commitment to the Core Values of First Fruits Marketing of Washington: love, community, respect, compassion and purpose. Two $2500 scholarships. Foreman Fruit- Open to students seeking enrollment in a two or four year college/university or accredited technical or trade school. To qualify, applicant must be the child of parent(s) employed by the Foreman, Groff or Hendrickson families or their orchards. Scholarship amounts vary. Fruit Packers Supply - Open to college juniors and seniors from the Yakima Valley enrolled full-time in the agriculture department at Washington State University studying for a career in Washington's tree fruit industry. Student must be a full time student residing in (or near) Pullman and attending classes on campus. One $1000 scholarship. G.S. Long Co., Inc. - Open to graduating high school seniors or current college students from Washington state enrolled at Yakima Valley Community College, Wenatchee Valley College, Washington State University, or University of Washington. Applicant must be pursuing a career in the tree fruit, grape or hop industries and have family/parents/guardians (or applicant themselves) who are somehow involved in Washington's tree fruit, hop or grape industries. One $1000 scholarship. Glady Bellamy Memorial - Glady Bellamy was a leader in Washington s tree fruit industry. He, among others, founded Columbia Marketing International (CMI). CMI is a firm with a vast worldwide network designed to source and supply quality fruit throughout the world.
4 Page 4 of 9 Friends and family of Glady created this scholarship to honor his memory by recognizing exceptional young people that have dreamed big and made the most of their circumstances. Students raised in Washington s tree fruit industry or pursuing a career within the industry are eligible to apply. Scholarship must be used at a two- or four-year accredited community college or university. One $5000 scholarship. H.M. & Marion Gilbert Memorial - Open to graduating seniors or current college/university students pursuing a degree an accredited two- or four-year college or university whose parents are growers or employees of Gilbert Orchards. One $1500 scholarship. Hansen Fruit Company LP - The scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college/university in Washington state. To qualify, applicant must be from the Yakima Valley and be studying in a tree fruit related field. The scholarship will be renewable for a second year for students meeting renewal qualifications. One $1800 scholarship will be made annually, either as a first or second year award. Harold Grim Memorial - Open to graduation seniors and former graduates of Entiat High School (Entiat, WA). One $1000 scholarship. Howard and Helen Hauff Memorial - Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington are eligible. Applicants should be studying for a degree in engineering or business and been raised in a family involved in the tree fruit industry. One $500 scholarship. Hunter - Scholarship honors the pioneering spirit of early tree fruit industry families and receives its name from the Hunter apple label distributed by Welch Apples, Inc. of Wenatchee. It is open to graduating seniors of Eastmont High School pursuing a two or four year degree at an accredited college or university. One $1000 scholarship. James E. "Jim" Loudon Scholarship - Graduating seniors from Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties and students or graduates from Wenatchee Valley College originally from Chelan, Douglas or Okanogan counties are eligible to apply. Students must be pursuing a degree in agriculture business (or related field) or horticulture at Washington State University. One scholarship awarded annually. Amount varies. Joe Bulleri Memorial - Open to current and former graduates of Quincy High School (Quincy, WA) pursuing a degree compatible with service to the tree fruit industry at an accredited twoor four-year college or university. Two $2000 scholarships. Jonathan Crane Memorial - Graduating seniors of Brewster High School and former Jonathan Crane Memorial scholarship recipients currently attending college may apply. Eligible applicants must be on a four-year degree path (applicants may attend the first two years of undergraduate education at a community college). Number of scholarships and amount of each varies. Kershaw Companies- Scholarship is open to children of Kershaw Companies employees and employees themselves of Kershaw Companies (includes Kershaw Fruit & Cold Storage, Quincy II, Domex Superfresh Growers, Super Cold Storage). Scholarship award must be used at an accredited community college, technical or trade school or university. The recipient must

One new $5000 scholarship awarded annually renewable for up to three additional undergraduate years. Keyes Fibre - Open to Washington state high school seniors or college/technical school students from Washington state. Parents/Guardians of the applicant or applicant himself/herself must be employed in an entry level labor or management position in the tree fruit or grape industries. One $2000 scholarship. Kibble & Prentice - Kibble & Prentice: Open to Washington state high school seniors, college and technical school students from Washington state. Parents/Guardians of the applicant or applicant himself/herself must be employed in an entry level labor or management position in the tree fruit industry. One $2000 scholarship. KJ Hendershott Memorial/Chelan Fruit - Open to college juniors or seniors pursuing a career directly related to agri-business. Applicants must be from Washington state. One $1000 scholarship. Larson Fruit Company- Open to graduating high school seniors whose parents are employed by Larson Fruit Company or a subsidiary of Larson Orchard Management and who are entering their first year of a college, university or technical school. One $1250 scholarship. Larson Fruit Company/Selah High School- Open to Selah High School (Selah, WA) graduating seniors who are entering their first year of a college, university or technical school. Louis Van Doren Memorial - Scholarship is open to Washington state students pursuing a degree in engineering at a Washington public or private four-year college or university. Scholarship will be awarded to a college sophomore, junior or senior and may be renewed upon satisfaction of requirements. One award will be made annually, either as a new or renewing scholarship. One $2000 scholarship. Matson Fruit - Scholarship offered to a graduating senior of Selah High School (Selah, WA). One $1500 scholarship. Migrant Student Leadership & Academic Scholarship - Migrant Student Leadership and Academic Scholarship. Scholarship is open to current and former Washington state high school seniors or current college students who moved across school boundaries between the ages 0-21 for family (or applicant) employment in agriculture or fishing seasonal work, meeting the federal eligibility criteria of the Title 1 Migrant Education Program. Applicant must possess a high degree of community service involvement or demonstrated ability to be a positive role model for migrant youth. Scholarship may be used at a two- or four-year college, university or accredited trade/technical school. Two $1000 scholarships. Moss Adams LLP-E. Peter Krier Scholarship - This scholarship, established by Moss Adams LLP, is in honor of retired partner E. Peter Krier. During Pete's tenure at Moss Adams he served the agri-business community of the Yakima Valley with his uncanny tax knowledge and creativity. This scholarship is open to college juniors, seniors, or fifth year students from the Yakima Valley, enrolled in a university in Washington state, pursuing a degree in accounting. One $500 schoalrship.
6 Page 6 of 9 Northern Fruit/Ice Lakes- Open to children of current Northern Fruit or Ice Lakes employees. The parent must have been employed year round at either company for a minimum of three years. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $6,000 and may be used for educational expenses at a community college within Washington State or a four-year accredited college or university. The number of awards will vary annually. Scholarship recipients may reapply for up to three additional undergraduate years. Northwest Farm Credit Services - Applicants may be Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington state. Parents/Guardians of the applicants must be employed in an entry level labor or entry level management position by a commercial grower or packer in Washington's tree fruit industries. Top candidates are those pursuing degrees compatible with banking and lending. Two $1250 scholarships. Olson's Honey - Scholarship is open to college-bound or college enrolled students whose parents are employed by, or applicants themselves are employed by, Olson's Honey (bee operation or orchard). Scholarship may be used at any accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical school. Award numbers vary and amounts vary. Olympic Fruit - Open to graduating seniors or current college/university students pursuing a degree at an accredited two- or four year college or university who are employed by or whose parents are employed by Olympic Fruit. Two $1000 scholarships. Oneonta Trading Corporation/Cooprider - This scholarship funded by Oneonta Trading Corporation honors the dedication of Sandy Cooprider, a Wenatchee Valley College physical education educator, to higher education. Four $3,000 scholarships. Orchard-Rite - Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington are eligible. Applicants should be involved in Washington's tree fruit industry, either pursuing a career in the industry or having been raised in a family involved in the industry. One $2,500 scholarship. Orville & Bertha Peebles Memorial - This yearly scholarship is awarded in honor of Orville & Bertha Peebles, long time residents of the Lake Chelan valley and growers of Washington apples. It is open to current and former graduates of Chelan and Manson high schools raised in families connected to the tree fruit industry. One $1250 scholarship. Pace International - Pace International. Scholarship is open to high school graduates and current undergraduate college students pursuing biology or chemistry related majors or preparing for production related careers in the tree fruit industry. Eligible students are those with ties to Washington's tree fruit industry. Two $1000 scholarships. Personnette/Zimmerman Memorial - Open to graduating seniors of Highland High School. One $500 scholarship. Phil Jenkins Memorial/POM Club - Open to students currently enrolled or entering a college/university who plan to live and work in the tree fruit industry in the Yakima Valley following the completion of their degree. Scholarship is awarded on behalf of the Yakima Pomological Club. Amount varies.

Richard W. Keller Memorial - Graduating high school seniors and continuing college students whose parents, or applicants themselves, are current employees or growers of Apple King and students whose parents, or applicants themselves, are employees of Keller Fruit, Pro Orchard, JNK Orchards or Bosma Ag Enterprises are eligible to apply. One $1000 scholarship. Robert & Hope Allan Memorial - Robert & Hope Allan Memorial. Open to graduating seniors of Naches High School (Naches,WA) pursuing a degree at an accredited two- or four- year college or trade school. Preference will be given to students anticipating a career in agriculture and/or students with an involvement in agriculture, whether familial, community or school programs, or high school vocational courses. One $1,000 scholarship Robert Prince Memorial - Scholarship honors American hero and former Gwin, White & Prince president Robert Prince. Mr. Prince received the Distinguished Service Cross for his service in the Army during World War II. Scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Chelan and Okanogan counties raised in families involved in the tree fruit industry and pursuing an education at Wenatchee Valley College (either its Wenatchee or Omak campus). The scholarship will be renewable for a second year upon meeting the criteria. One $1000 scholarship will be awarded annually, either as a first or second year award. Roy Farms - Open to East Valley High School (Moxee, WA) seniors who are pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture (or related fields) and to students whose parents are employed fulltime, year-round by Roy Farms, Inc. One $2000 scholarship. Sagemoor Farms - Open to graduating students and students currently enrolled in a two- or four- year college/ university program whose parents are employed at Sagemoor Farms (Pasco, WA). Amount varies. Stadelman Fruit -- Hood River - Open to graduating seniors whose parents are employees or growers of Stadelman Fruit LLC located in Hood River. Students must plan to attend an accredited two- or four- year community college, university or technical school. Scholarship is renewable for one additional year, upon meeting terms of renewal. Two $1000 scholarships. Stadelman Fruit - Lower Yakima Valley - Open to graduating seniors from the lower Yakima Valley whose parents are growers or employees of Stadelman Fruit LLC. Students must plan to attend an accredited two- or four- year community college, university or technical school. Scholarship is renewable for one additional year, upon meeting terms of renewal. Three $1000 awards. Stemilt Growers, Inc Renewable - Scholarship is open to graduating high schools seniors whose parents are full time employees of Stemilt Growers, Inc. (warehouse, administration & orchards) and have been employed by the company for a minimum of six-months. Applicant must be pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree at an accredited university. One $4000 scholarship. Stemilt Growers, Inc - Single Year - Scholarship is open to children of full time employees of Stemilt Growers, Inc. (warehouse, administration & orchards) or employees themselves with a
8 Page 8 of 9 minimum of six-months employment history with the company. Applicant must be pursuing a two- or four-year undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Two $2500 scholarships. Stemilt Growers, Inc. Accounting - The Stemilt Growers, Inc. scholarship is open to college students entering their junior or senior years and pursuing a career in accounting. In addition to the award, students will participate in a two-month internship in the accounting department at Stemilt's Wenatchee headquarters. One $2500 scholarship. Strand - Open to graduates of Highland High School (Cowiche/Tieton, WA). To qualify, students must submit their response to the Strand scholarship essay question, along with the completed WAEF Application Form. Strand essay question is available at the high schools counseling office. Award amounts and numbers vary. Sundquist Fruit - Open to graduating seniors and current college students whose parents are employed by Sundquist Fruit or to current college students raised in Yakima county pursuing a career in production agriculture. One $1500 scholarship. Sun-Rype USA, Inc. - Scholarship is open to graduating seniors and current college students who are the children of Sun-Rype USA, Inc. employees. The scholarship may be used at accredited two-year community colleges, trade schools or technical colleges located within Washington state. Graduating high school seniors and current college students meeting the qualifications will be considered. One $1000 scholarship. Thomas K. Mathison Memorial- Thomas K. Mathison was the founder of Stemilt Growers, Inc. Through hard work and dedication he built a company that is known world-wide for its superior quality apples and cherries. To honor him, friends and family created this scholarship in his memory recognizing students with strong character and a will to succeed. One $17,000 scholarship. Tree Top, Inc. - Open to graduating high school seniors whose parents are either: (1) contracted grower-members of Tree Top, Inc., or (2) employees of Tree Top, Inc. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Selection is based on merit and academics; family financial information is not a requirement of the application process. The scholarships are not limited to residents of Washington state. Two $1250 scholarships. Valent USA - Open to students enrolled in the tree fruit programs at Yakima Valley Community College, Wenatchee Valley College, or Washington State University. Two $1000 awards. Van Doren Sales - Open to graduating seniors and former graduates of Eastmont, Wenatchee, Cascade, Cashmere, Chelan, or Waterville high schools pursuing a vocational education at a two-year community college or vocational trade school in Washington state. One $1500 scholarship, with second year renewal upon qualification. Wilbur Ellis - Applicants must be Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington state. Parents/Guardians of the applicants or applicants themselves must be employed in an entry level labor or entry level management position by a commercial grower or packer in Washington's tree fruit, grape or hop industries. Ten $1000 scholarships.
9 Page 9 of 9 Yakima County Farm Bureau - Scholarship is open to high school seniors or students currently enrolled full-time in college who are, or whose parent, legal guardian or spouse is, a member of the Yakima County Farm Bureau. Applicant must be majoring in an agricultural related field. Amount varies. Yakima Valley Growers-Shippers Assn. - Open to graduating seniors and current Washington state college students who are employed by or are children of general members of the Yakima Valley Growers-Shippers Association (YVGSA) or the children of employees or growers of a general member of the YVGSA. Applicants should be pursuing a degree compatible with service to the tree fruit industry (horticulture, business, refrigeration, etc.). Two $1000 scholarships.. Zirkle Fruit Company - Zirkle Fruit Company scholarships are open to students raised in the tree fruit growing regions of Washington state, who plan to or are attending a two or four year college, university or accredited technical school in Washington state. Students with desire to live and work in central Washington upon completion of college degree are encouraged to apply. Graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college may apply. Five $1000 scholarships.
