2 Mission Lead Tech is an Engineering Company skilled in providing Technical Support for the Design and Development of Technical Publications, Drawing and Software for both the military and civil fields in the Aerospace & Defence, Naval, Railway and Industrial sectors. Our services fall within the Integrated Logistic Support and include the study, design and planning of activities necessary to ensure the effective, efficient and economical support of systems/machineries during its life cycle. We believe that the Customer-Care support is the key factor for every Company and is the starting point for new projects, new challenges, new opportunities. Our mission is to offer the best possible Customer-Care support in order to establish more effective, fruitful and lasting relationships. Page 2

5 Activities ENGINEERING AREA All activities related to the Integrated Logistic Support such as Technical Publications, Drawings and Training, are developed in the Engineering Area. SOFTWARE AREA Lead Tech designs and develops customized software for Company, Documents and Maintenance Management. Engineering 65% Services 5% RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT AREA All Research activities aimed at increasing the Company know-how and finding new competitive solutions are developed in the R&D Area. Research and Development 10% Electronics 10% Software 10% ELECTRONICS AREA Last but not least, the Electronics Area includes the design, and development of Data Acquisition Systems, for Power and Industrial Automation. 6 Engineering Area Technical Publications and ILS The Technical Publications are developed with the aim of providing clear and complete information to the end-user and can be realized both in the paper and electronic multimedia format (pdf, html and xml). The Technical Publications can be designed and developed in accordance with the national and international Standards (ATA, MIL, AER, AECMA etc.) or with the Customer Specifications. Lead Tech also carries out studies aimed at defining maintenance, reliability, maintainability and testability of instruments and equipment, as well as planning the maintenance activities and defining the required spare parts. User and Maintenance Manuals. Operating Manuals. Illustrated Parts Catalogs. Technical Files. Tutorials, and On-line Guides. The development team of the Technical Publications is skilled in realizing the Training Documentation in both formats, traditional and interactive. Page 6

7 Engineering Area Graphics The Graphic activity is integrated in the Engineering Area and is developed on the design drawings. The realization of illustrations is necessary for the identification of components both in the Maintenance Procedures and the Illustrated Parts Catalogs. In addition to the modification of pictures and video frames that can be linked to the technical manuals, the graphics activity also includes activities related to the development of animations for Computer Based Training (CBT) courses. All illustrations, from the simplest to the most complex ones, always have a high level of accuracy coming out complete, detailed and easy-reading at the same time. Page 7

8 Engineering Area - Training To support the Customer in the training activities, Lead Tech designs and develops Computer Based Training / Web Based Training courses and documentation for training courses both on paper and/or digital support, in Italian and other languages. Our team supports the Customer in the Online Training by developing E-Learning tools for distributing the training documentation and training via WEB. Page 8

9 Software Area Management Systems Lead Tech designs and develops simple and intuitive Management Systems, to optimize operations and production processes tailored to meet the real needs of the customer. The LMS - Lead Management System takes care of the production, management and editing of Technical Publications in accordance with the S1000D Standard. The LMS Viewer, for Technical Publications WEB viewing, and the LMS Maintenance/Palm, for Maintenance Management, are connected to the LMS. The LAM Lead Azienda Management takes care of the Company administrative and operational management with a focus on job management, human resources and Company documentation management. The System takes care of the Company Quality System management in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and EN 9100:2009 Standards. The LMS-RFID System takes care of the marking and tracing of components and Aircraft Systems using UHF passive RFID tag according to the standard ATA Spec 2000 Ch 9 and the standards of the main Manufacturers. 10 Elettronics Area The Electronics Area, last but not least, was born for Electronic Equipment Firmware development. Its target has then been extended to the design and development of prototypes of electronic control system components in the aerospace, automotive and industrial sectors. Modeling and simulation of electromechanical systems. Design of controllers for motorized bodies with embedded microcontroller systems. Design and production of CNC machines prototypes. Production of control systems by means of Rapid Prototyping dspace platform. Three-phase inverter for electric traction. Hardware and firmware design for electric bicycle drive. Data acquisition systems by means of microprocessor embedded devices. Design of a HMI - Human Machine Interface System for Automotive applications. Wirings design and production. Page 10

12 Research & Development Area The Research & Development Area, always present and very significant within the Company, enabled the acquisition of new technologies and processes that led to a high level of know-how favoring the consequent creation of innovative products. The developed activities are designed to investigate and pick up the new technologies in order to satisfy both Customer s and internal needs, proposing new and competitive solutions in collaboration with Research Institutes. A few R&D activities developed: Research project for the definition, design and implementation of a system for detection and monitoring of seismic events in the Pozzuoli Gulf area.
