Bahgallah Memorial Hall Inc (Glenelg Shire) Historic Community Photograph Display Awarded: $1,100 For a public display of an extensive collection of historic photographs relating to the community of Bahgallah, collected on the occasion of the Hall's 85th Anniversary celebrations in 2007.

Beeac District News - Sub-Committee of Beeac Progress Association (Colac- Otway Shire) The History of Beeac Years of European Settlement Awarded: $6,000 To publish a book telling the stories of the people of Beeac and district over 150 years of European settlement using photographs, historical documents, memoirs older members of community and old newspaper reports. Bendigo Easter Fair Society Inc (City of Greater Bendigo) Bendigo Easter Fair A Book Awarded: $5,000 The Bendigo Easter Festival will celebrate its 140th year in In the lead up the society will publish a book that details the history of the Bendigo Easter Festival. Bendigo Regional Archives Centre (City of Greater Bendigo) Bendigo Regional Archives Centre (BRAC) Website Awarded: $8,000 To develop a website for the Bendigo Regional Archives Centre to enable wider public access to the archive s collections and to feature local stories and exhibitions on Bendigo s history. Berriwillock Community Development Group (Buloke Shire) The Berriwillock Memory Bank Awarded: $4,850 To collate, appropriately store and make available online and in public displays, the records relating to the history of Berriwillock including oral histories, photos, documents and artefacts. Bestchance Child Family Care (Monash City Council) Bestchance, Burwood and Beyond. Awarded: $6,000 Over a century of caring for children To catalogue, preserve and digitise the heritage collections including records, photographs and multimedia stories of Bestchance Child Family Care and develop a website to enable past families and clients to access information and share their local historical stories.

Box Hill Historical Society Inc (City of Whitehorse) Publication: 'The natural history of Whitehorse' Awarded: $2,100 To publish a book on the natural history of the Whitehorse area, as it was at European settlement. Bright & District Historical Society Inc (Alpine Shire) Document Rescue Awarded: $3,000 To catalogue and archive copies of Alpine Observer newspapers to ensure their ongoing preservation. Buchan Bush Nursing Association Inc (East Gippsland Shire) Buchan Bush Nursing Awarded: $5,627 In 2011 the Buchan Bush Nursing Centre will celebrate its centenary. In the lead up the association will research, write and publish a book detailing the history of the Buchan Bush Nursing Association. Buloke Shire Council (Buloke Shire) Strong Roots- Resilient Communities Awarded: $8,000 To develop a travelling exhibition celebrating the contribution made by early residents to the social fabric of Buloke. Buninyong & District Historical Society (Ballarat City Council) Identifying Buninyong's Early History Awarded: $2,000 To erect interpretive and informative signs at historic sites around Buninyong. As part of this celebration the group will publish a book and accompanying DVD documenting the history of the district and its people.
