13 Research Data Management RDMP may be revisited once research is underway Researchers may: Revise the amount of data storage they will need Change the people who will need access to it (collaboration) Indicate they will need access to High Performance Computing Opportunity to manage research data more efficiently

14 Research data / Tools for collaboration Statistical Consulting Part of the Library since June 2012 High level service provision: 87 meetings for individual statistical consultation 30 hands on workshops for 281 participants Managing access to confidential datasets Handling licencing, tech support and purchasing of statistical software

15 Open Scholarship Publications Open Access Repository, the Flinders Academic Commons (FAC) Excellence for Research in Australia (ERA) 2012 Compliance with NHMRC and ARC open access mandates Advise on open access options for researchers Training and consultation for RHDs/ECRs on publishing for impact Training and consultation on using social media

16 Open Scholarship Data Information gathered from research data management plans will be repurposed to create catalogue records for datasets Hope to link open access publications with open access data
