1 Appendix 2 TUITION FEES SCHEDULE 1.0 INTENSIVE ENGLISH COURSE (IEC) 1.1 Length of Study: 18 weeks 1.2 Course Structure: 18 weeks (mix of face to face teaching and structure self-study hours), 5 hours study per day. 1.3 Intake: October/November and March/April Every Academic Year 1.4 Fees: Num. Students will need to repeat the English course after failing the first attempt, and students are expected to pay another RM 2, until students have meet the English requirement set for the entry into the degree course in UniMAP. b. Processing fee of RM (inclusive GST) non-refundable and to be paid before the application form processing. c. The personal bond is refundable upon completion of the study; however the refund is subjected to the terms and conditions set by the university. d. The schedule is for payments payable to the University and does not include the other government charges such as those for the medical and immigration departments 2

9 5.0 PAYMENT RATES FOR RENOUNCE OF STUDY PERIOD 5.1 Charges will be waived for students who quit before the semester begins. 5.2 Students who quit after the semester begins, but before the midterm break, will have to pay half charges. Other continual charges need to be paid fully and are not returnable. 5.3 Students who quit after the mid-term break will be fully charged. 6.0 STUDY POSTPONEMENT PAYMENT 6.1 Charges will be waived for students who wish to postpone studies, with Senates approval. 6.2 Half payment will be charged to students who get the Senates approval before the mid-term break. 6.3 Students who get the Senates approval after the mid-term break will be fully charged. 7.0 FAILURE TO SETTLE PAYMENTS 7.1 Student who fail to settle payments will be barred from examination, and consequently will be terminated from study.
