SECURITY Xero Personal comes with the same high-level security as our Business Edition. Data will never be sold or aggregated to third party services. IS IT SUITABLE FOR SOLE PROPRIETORS AND MICRO BUSINESSES FOR ACCOUNTING PURPOSES? No, not really. There are no accounting features, and business owners won t be able to do any tax returns or reporting that businesses require. We recommend they try Xero Small as an alternative. IS IT SUITABLE FOR FAMILY TRUSTS? Not if you want to prepare any form of company or trust accounts for tax and other reporting purposes. Xero Personal can t provide any accounting-related outputs. It s been designed simply for tracking personal (or family/household) income and expenditure, and goal setting. WHAT IT COSTS $34 per year. HOW TO GET SET UP All a client needs is some of their recent bank account statement data, which they can download from their online banking site. 18 TERMS OF AGREEMENT for Xero Partners Xero and the Partner each acknowledge and agree that they will endeavour to take reasonable action to achieve the purposes of this agreement. THE PARTNER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING STEPS: Mark the check box on the Partner Agreement page of the Xero website Sign up at least three clients to Xero Assign a Xero champion who will complete Xero certification Host a Xero dedicated landing page on your company website that includes an active hyperlink to and complies with the Xero Brand Guidelines Partner status cannot be confirmed until the four steps above are complete. Xero reserves the right to accept or decline any organization or individual becoming a Xero Partner. Xero also reserves the right to terminate its relationship with any existing Partner. To qualify for pricing and other benefits associated with becoming a Xero Partner, all subscriptions and billing plans must be registered in the Partner s name, not in the names of individual users. The Partner must nominate and advise Xero who, within the practice, will be responsible for all matters relating to the account. DISPUTES AND TERMINATION OF THE AGREEMENT Either party may terminate this agreement for any reason, giving notice of one month.
