Term 3 The reward items touching down to earth in Term 3 are (available while stocks last): Cosmic Light Beam Torch Glow-in-the-Dark Solar System For every deposit made at school, no matter how big or small, students will receive a cool Dollarmites token. Once students have individually collected 10 tokens they can redeem them for these exclusive School Banking reward items in recognition of their continued savings behaviour. There are 2 new items to come in Term 4 as well! Remember our school earns 5% commission on every deposit made (to a maximum of $10 per individual deposit). If your children are not currently involved in the School Banking program and you would like to know more, please ask for a 2015 School Banking program Information Pack from the School office. 2 School Banking Account Opening Day <School Name> is excited to offer the Commonwealth Bank School Banking program to all students. The School Banking program provides children with an opportunity to make deposits into their personal Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account at school each week. The program is about how often your child makes deposits, not how much they deposit. To encourage regular savings behaviour the program offers an exciting Rewards Program. Every deposit earns your child a Dollarmites token, and once they ve collected 10 tokens they can redeem them for a reward. The rewards items available during 2015 are: ET DVD, released Term 1 Planet Handball, released Term 1 Invisible Ink Martian Pen, released Term 2 Intergalactic Rocket, released Term 2 Glow-in-the-Dark Solar System, released Term 3 Cosmic Light Beam Torch, released Term 3 Outer Space Savers Money Box, released Term 4 Lunar Light Band, released Term 4 School Banking day is <Day>. If you are interested in opening a Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account for your child please bring along your current driver s licence or another form of photographic identification. You can get involved in the School Banking program by opening a Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account at any Commonwealth Bank branch, over the phone on , or via NetBank if you are an existing customer with NetBank access. Remember to take in identification for you and your child (driver s license and birth certificate). You will receive a Dollarmites wallet and deposit book that your child will use to participate in the program. 4 Calling for volunteers we need your help! Our students really enjoy participating in the Commonwealth Bank School Banking program and to keep this program running we need your help. The program requires a volunteer School Banking Coordinator to facilitate the banking and distribution of School Banking rewards. This only takes a small amount of your time one day a week and the Commonwealth Bank will provide support in how to run the program. Your help with the program will greatly benefit students as they develop vital saving skills and also help our school with fundraising. Currently, School Banking day is <day>. Every time your child makes a deposit at school they receive a silver coloured Dollarmites token. The first token will be received upon the first deposit at school. Once your child has individually saved 10 tokens they can redeem them for an exclusive Dollarmites reward item. Students will have lots of fun saving their tokens for these cool rewards items. School Banking is also a great fundraiser for our school. The school receives $5 when children make their first deposit at school and a commission on every deposit made through the School Banking program. Taking part in School Banking is easy. You can get involved in the School Banking program by opening a Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account at any Commonwealth Bank branch, over the phone on , or via NetBank if you are an existing customer with NetBank access. If your child has an existing Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account they can start banking straight away. They just need to bring their deposit in every week using their Dollarmites deposit wallet. If your child has misplaced their Dollarmites deposit book or deposit wallet, they can request a new one from either the local branch or contact the School Banking Co-ordinator.
