2 Introduction Inter Act has developed an asset management product for reporting and managing maintenance activities on remote technical installations (objects). Maintenance engineers fill out preconfigured reports and upload them into a central long-term storage database. The reports can be consulted at any time and by anyone having access All reported data is also processed into specific reports and dashboards for management purposes. 4 Entering reports and supports different kind of reports, depending on the user requirements. Reports are available in many sorts with predefined values and colors. The reports are entered locally by a maintenance engineer and once uploaded they can be accessed directly or at a later moment. 5 In an inspection report, as depicted on the previous, the maintenance engineer can indicate the state of each part of an object (electrical, mechanical, structural integrity etc.) by just clicking on the appropriate box. The colors in the report help clarify and visualize the status. Metadata, such as photos, can be added to the report. There is room for comments also keeps track of the costs of the inspections. In this report the cause of the malfunctioning can be entered, as well as how the problem has been resolved. The used materials and parts for reparation can also be recorded in the same report. This report offers a quick and easy overview of costs involved as well. 5

6 Presenting management reports After the maintenance reports are entered and uploaded, they are stored in a central database. The reports are presented via a WEBscada server and subsequently they can be accessed via a web browser. Different filters can be used for an overview of all the entered reports. By using these filters only the relevant reports will be shown. Consulting reports The image below is an example of a stored malfunction report that can be consulted at any moment after it was uploaded. Only the filled out parts of the report are displayed. 7 Predicting the need for can be supplemented with 4caster. 4caster is a TeleControlNet function that forecasts events on basis of analysing data trends (BIG data). 4caster collects data from different data sources, such as measured data and metadata. Tendencies in data are recognized and interpreted. The results are presented in dashboard type reporting. Impending technical defects can be brought to the attention of asset managers before they occur. This means the need for maintenance can be predicted and prescriptive maintenance can be introduced. With prescriptive maintenance unexpected stoppage of processes can be drastically reduced and therefore operational production cost reduced.
