Serves as Provost and Chief Operating Officer for a non-profit, independent Jewish-sponsored institution in Northern California. Appointed by President to lead a Commission on Campus Climate, Community and Communications. Initiated development of a college-wide vision and mission statement, as part of ongoing strategic planning. Supported development of a Student Services Center and Cohort Advising model to provide academic advising to over 900 FTES in the Division of Criminal Justice. Advocated for curriculum change and fiscal support to increase admissions to entry level nursing programs. Negotiated relocation of Division of Nursing, Department of Physical Therapy, and Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology to new, expanded space in CalSTRS building purchased by University Foundation. Initiated a college-based New Faculty Mentoring Program, which has had more than 120 participants since Created a Faculty Research Fellows Program, which received funding from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.

2 Page California State University, Sacramento Associate Dean, College of Health and Human Services Developed yearlong New Faculty Mentoring Program consisting of bimonthly seminars and informal meetings with assigned mentors. Received four year grant ($325,000) from Stuart Foundation to support expansion of inter-professional learning opportunities for university students and community interventions with high-risk children, youth and families. Received four years of funding ($344,095) from Commission for National Service to initiate and support the Capital University Service Corps, a university-based America Reads program that provided after-school services in low-performing elementary schools. Selected for Leadership Sacramento, a program of the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, to prepare individuals for top leadership positions in community organizations. Worked with University Committee for Persons with Disabilities to promote access and opportunities for disabled students, staff, and faculty; insured institutional compliance with federal and state mandates regarding the disabled California State University, Sacramento Full Professor with Tenure, Division of Nursing Taught graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of professional issues and ethics, research, concept and theory development, family-community nursing and medical-surgical nursing. Sacramento Coordinator for Superior California Area Health Education Center (SAHEC); coordinated distance education broadcasts of graduate nursing courses to CSU, Chico, CSU, Stanislaus and Solano Community College. Served as Consultant and Faculty Mentor regarding strategy and style for teaching over instructional television. Provided leadership to campus efforts to adopt innovative teaching-learning technologies; chaired Faculty Professional Development Subcommittee of the University Teaching, Learning, and Technology Roundtable. Selected CSU, Sacramento Multi-Media Fellow (1997). Chaired Program Evaluation Committee; conducted longitudinal study of program graduates. Chaired numerous personnel committees, including Division of Nursing Faculty Affairs Committee, Temporary Faculty Evaluation Committee, Primary Retention, Tenure and Promotion Committee, and faculty and staff search committees.
