2 How can my church add online Christian Education to our congregational life? Fortunately, it s quite easy. Here are the steps: 1. Identify a person at the church to be your congregational partner contact and receive our monthly updates of upcoming offerings and general information. Your church will be listed as a partner at BeADisciple.com with a link to your website, and you will be invited to add a BeADisciple.com link to your church website. 2. Recruit small group online facilitators. These are persons who: Desire to grow in their faith and wish to help others do this as well Enjoy learning from top teachers in the Church today Like making new friends and leading group discussions Appreciate the accessibility, convenience, and depth of online learning and discussion Successfully complete the self-paced, online training 3. For the congregation that intends to build their own online classes, the church identifies a BeADisciple instructor. This person(s) needs: Basic computer skills Understanding of basic concepts in curriculum formation Successfully complete the two-week online training class 4. For the congregation that intends to offer any of the adult DISCIPLE Bible studies an online facilitator needs to complete the self-paced training. A specific self-paced training is also required to lead Youth DISCIPLE Online.

3 How do the finances for the congregational partnership work? There is no charge to be a congregational partner. To become a trained online small group facilitator the fee is $25. To become a DISCIPLE Bible or Youth DISCIPLE facilitator the fee is $50. To become a trained BeADisciple instructor who can build and lead classes with your churches content, the fee is $100. For no additional fee, instructors may also complete the self-paced trainings to become DISCPLE or small-group facilitators. How do the finances for participants work? For classes listed at BeADisciple which are simply promoted by the church and where the participant enrolls and pays by credit card at BeADisciple.com, the amount for each class is set by the provider. For studies provided by a congregational small group online facilitator or DISCIPLE online facilitator, the fee to the participants is determined by the provider and a number of arrangements for payment may be set up. For studies developed by the trained instructor using in-house content the fee is set by the local church. The Institute requires $15 as a base fee for its services. These services include: use of course management software to build, use and store your class content (videos, power points, handouts), come-and-go text-based discussions, live verbal group discussions, populating the password protected groups, and financial administration.
