He joined Belo as executive vice president/television Group and was promoted to executive vice president/media Operations in January A 1964 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Sander began his career in television at WLWC-TV in Columbus, Ohio in 1965 and moved to WTOL-TV in Toledo in He served in various sales and sales management positions at WTOL until 1978, when he joined WDSU in New Orleans, Louisiana as station manager. Sander returned to Toledo in 1980 as general manager of WTOL. In 1982, Sander joined KTSP-TV in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served as president and general manager until From 1985 until 1988, Sander was president of the Television Division of Taft Broadcasting, with responsibility for 12 television stations. Prior to joining Belo, Sander was general manager at WAGA-TV in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1988 until Sander currently is a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the Television Operators Caucus (TOC), and Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). Sander served as chairman of the NBC Affiliate board in , and was vice chairman of the FOX board in 1995 and In civic affairs, Sander has served on a number of non-profit boards and was the 1995 chairman of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta. Sander and his wife, Jeanne, have three daughters and five granddaughters.

Shive was named president/media Operations of in February 2006, with oversight of all of Belo s television, cable news and interactive media operations, two of the Company s three major newspapers, The Providence Journal and The Press-Enterprise (Riverside, CA), and Belo s Capital Bureau in Washington, D.C. In addition, Shive serves as chair of the Company s Strategy Council and oversees business development. From January 2005 through January 2006, Shive served as executive vice president of Belo Corp., and from January 2004 through December 2004 as executive vice president/media Operations. Shive previously served as executive vice president/chief Financial Officer of the Company, and has been a member of Belo s Management Committee since June Shive served as Chief Financial Officer from June 1998 to December Shive joined Belo as corporate controller in May 1993 and served in that capacity until January 1995, when she was promoted to vice president/controller. A year later, she was named vice president/finance, and in July 1997 she became senior vice president/corporate Operations. She was named senior vice president/chief Financial Officer in June From 1989 to 1993, Shive served as assistant controller for Tyler Corporation, a publicly held company headquartered in Dallas. From 1982 to 1989, she was an audit manager for Arthur Young & Company, where she worked with several publicly held companies, including Belo. Shive holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas Tech University and has completed executive education courses at Harvard Business School (Strategic Marketing Management) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (Leading Change and Organizational Renewal). In 2001, she received the Outstanding Alumni award from Ernst & Young (Dallas office). Shive is a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Maximum Service Television (MSTV) and Classified Ventures, LLC. She and her husband, Robert, have three children.

3 DENNIS A. WILLIAMSON Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (Preferred name: Dennis) Please note that references to Belo should be Belo or, Dennis A. Williamson was named executive vice president/chief Financial Officer in February Williamson joined the Belo corporate office in January 2000 as senior vice president/television Group with responsibility for the Company s Texas television and cable operations, was promoted to senior corporate vice president in January 2003 and became senior corporate vice president/chief Financial Officer in January He serves on the Company s Management Committee. In his current position, Williamson leads the Company s finance, accounting, tax, treasury, enterprise-wide technology, investor relations, corporate communications and corporate operations functions. Williamson began his career in 1977 as business manager/controller for Sierra Cascade Communications. In 1979, he became station manager of Sierra Cascade s KTVL in Medford, Oregon. In 1981, he was promoted to vice president and general manager of KTVL. In 1983, Williamson moved to King Broadcasting Company s KREM-TV in Spokane, Washington, as vice president and general manager. After five years, he assumed the same position with King Broadcasting Company s KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon. In 1992, he was promoted to president and general manager of KGW, a position he held until Belo acquired the station in February In May of that year, he was promoted to president and general manager of Belo s KING-TV in Seattle/Tacoma. Williamson graduated from the University of Oregon in 1975 with a B.S. degree in Accounting and Business Administration. He has served as a member of the board of directors of NATPE (National Association of Television Program Executives), as President of the Oregon Association of Broadcasters, as a member of the CBS Governmental Relations Committee and in various roles with numerous civic organizations. He and his wife, Mae, have two daughters and two grandchildren.

4 DONALD F. ( SKIP ) CASS, JR. Executive Vice President/Media Operations (Preferred name: Skip) Please note that references to Belo should be Belo or, Donald F. (Skip) Cass, Jr. was named executive vice president/media Operations in February From February 2000 through January 2006, he served as a senior vice president of the Company, with responsibility for Corporate Communications from February 2000 through January 2002, and operating responsibility for The Press-Enterprise in Riverside (since February 2000) and Belo s television and cable news operations in Arizona (since January 2001). Cass currently oversees Belo s television stations and cable news operations in Houston, Phoenix, St. Louis, San Antonio and Tucson, as well as the operations of two Belo newspapers, The Providence Journal and The Press-Enterprise (Riverside, CA). Cass worked as a sales account executive for Belo s WWL-TV in New Orleans from 1988 until 1991 while he was a law student. From 1991 until 1993, he practiced law as an associate in commercial litigation and communications law at the firm of Bordelon, Hamlin, Theriot & Hardy in New Orleans. While practicing law, he served under Ashton Hardy, former general counsel of the Federal Communications Commission. From 1993 to 1996, Cass served as director of operations for Newswatch on Channel 15, a cable news joint venture between WWL and Cox Cable in New Orleans. In that role, he helped to develop the nation s first local cable news service programmed by a broadcast television station. In 1996, Cass was named manager/finance and Administration of Belo s Broadcast Division. He was promoted in 1997 to director/cable News Operations. In that position, he was instrumental in the planning phase of Texas Cable News (TXCN) and served as project manager for design and construction of the TXCN facility. In May 1998, he was appointed vice president and General Manager of TXCN, which was launched in January Cass earned a bachelor s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Louisiana State University in 1987 and graduated from Loyola University School of Law in He is a 2004 graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and serves on the Stanford Business School Alumni Association Board of Directors. Cass remains a licensed member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Cass and his wife, Christi, have two children.

5 DAVID LOUGEE Executive Vice President/Media Operations (Preferred name: David) Please note that references to Belo should be Belo or, David Lougee was named executive vice president/media Operations of in February Lougee served as senior vice president from January 2005 through January He formerly served as vice president and General Manager of Belo s television stations and cable news operations in Seattle/Tacoma, a position he held from June 2000 to December In his current role, Lougee oversees Belo s television stations and cable news operations in Seattle/Tacoma, Portland, Charlotte, Hampton/Norfolk, New Orleans, Louisville, Austin, Spokane and Boise, as well as the Company s Capital Bureau in Washington, D.C. A native of East Lyme, Connecticut, Lougee is a 1981 graduate of the University of Colorado, with a bachelor s degree in English. He attended the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in He began his career at Denver s KCNC-TV, where he was newscast producer, 10 p.m. producer, executive producer and assistant news director from 1982 until From 1990 to 1996, Lougee was vice president/news at KUSA-TV in Denver, which received three national Edward R. Murrow awards, including Overall Excellence, during his tenure. From 1996 to 1998 he was vice president/news at NBC s WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., where he managed the production of 41 hours of news, sports and informational programming weekly. Lougee joined Belo in 1998 as executive news director at KING-TV in Seattle/Tacoma. He is a member of the NBC Affiliate Board of Directors, and chair of the NBC Newschannel Board of Directors. Lougee and his wife, Danni, live in Dallas and have three children.

6 PETER DIAZ Senior Vice President (Preferred name: Peter) Please note that references to Belo should be Belo or, Peter Diaz was named senior vice president of in February From January 1999 through January 2006, Peter served as president and General Manager of KHOU-TV in Houston. In his current role, Diaz oversees the Company s CBS-affiliated television stations in Houston, St. Louis and San Antonio. Diaz began his career as a research assistant in 1978 at WJBK-TV, a Storer Broadcasting-owned television station in Detroit. He moved through the Storer sales system from 1979 to 1984, first as a local account executive in Detroit and then as a national sales representative in Detroit and New York. Diaz joined Belo in 1984 as national sales manager at KHOU-TV in Houston and became local sales manager the following year. From 1991 to 1994, Diaz was general sales manager of Belo s KOTV in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From 1994 until 1995, he served as the director of sales and marketing at WFAA-TV in Dallas/Fort Worth. In 1995, he returned to KHOU as station manager, and in 1997 he was promoted to vice president and General Manager of KHOU. Diaz serves on the boards of the CBS Television Network Affiliates Association, the Tomas Rivera Policy Institute, Sheltering Arms Senior Services in Houston, Greater Houston Partnership and United Way of Texas Gulf Coast. Diaz was born in Cuba and attended the University of Detroit s School of Communications from 1974 to 1978 on scholarship from Storer Broadcasting Company. He is married and has three children.
