EHA Member Comments My husband and I, 6 daughters; and 6 sons-in law; had a ceremony of "Responsibility and Trust" where we all signed a vow to adhere to the NONdistracted Driving behavior for safety including my 23 grandchildren and 1 great grand-daughter!!! Thank you. This was one of the most valuable EHA wellness programs ever! It definitely increased my awareness of how texting and talking on the phone while driving impacts not only my safety but the safety of others. I discovered that I really don't need to text or talk while driving. In fact, it is almost a relief to "be away" from the phone :-) Great program!!! I really appreciate the factors of: user friendliness, accountability, and motivational format! EHA GETS BETTER AND BETTER, REALLY LOVE IT AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE. I have known I shouldn't talk on my cell phone while driving, but in some cases when the phone rang, I would answer it. Now I will let it ring and call that person back when I am not driving. I NEVER text and drive-i always pull over. Plus, you just can't text driving a manual transmission! After seeing an injury-accident many years ago, I NEVER drive without my seatbelts and I tell people that my ignition is connected to everyone wearing seat belts. Car doesn't start -don't like it, you can walk :). Thanks for the focus on safety. Thank you for the excellent information and videos. I have 2 teen daughters who have started to drive and who we are trying to teach about the responsibility and dangers that go along with driving. As a parent of teen drivers it is sure nice to have so much great information (with statistics, as well as testimonials) in one place, to share with them, and that reinforces what we are trying to teach them about driving safely and their overall safety as well. You have provided so many important topics to sit down and have conversations with them about, and a little more peace of mind knowing they will be a little better prepare when they are on their own. Thank you again! I teach hunter safety and that whistle is the best one that I have ever heard it will be a very good training device in my classes along with my vacations to the mountains.

I worked through the summer with a crew of 4 teenage girls helping at our school. I pulled many videos up and showed the girls and had a quick "Grandma" talk several times with them. I also will show our Guidance Counselor this link for possible use this upcoming school year. So many sad stories and no reason for happening. Thanks for all the safety tips and reminders this summer! Paula Omel - Giltner Public School. I am finding that I pay closer attention to everything I do that could affect my health and well-being. This is especially true of what I am eating at each meal. I really appreciate how well this program was put together and offered to EHA members! As a habit, I like to check in with EHA each morning as the first thing that I do. Loved the whistle and the overall program! You have an excellent wellness program. Thank you for all you do. The videos were very impactful. I lost a brother to a distracted driver talking on his cell phone, and this is something that my family takes very seriously. We know from firsthand experience that distracted driving kills. It encouraged me to see others step forward and take a stand on this topic as well. I attached my safety whistle to my portable weather alert radio. With all the storms this spring/summer, I became more aware not only of my personal safety in parking lots and out and about but also home safety during tornado warnings. I prepared a tote with essentials like food/water/first aid that I could grab and take to the basement. The whistle was for use in case a tornado did destroy my house and I needed to alert someone that I was there. Thank goodness, I didn't need it but I was ready! By being more alert in the car I saved myself and this elderly couple an accident. She was coming out of a bank that is close to where I work. I know she did not see me, and she did not look my way, only looked to her right. So I stopped abruptly and just waited. She scared herself when she saw me while she was in her turn and when she finished she was signaled and mouthed a thank you! Because of Safety First I have been more aware of my driving habits and everyone else around me. Thank you! Very nice variety of safety suggestions.

Because I had signed up for the program I reminded myself on two occasions not to text while I was driving. This particular program hit close to home in the sense that I will definitely be more outspoken to others and remind myself about using seatbelts and NOT TEXTING OR TALKING ON CELLPHONE!! Oh, and NO SPEEDING! DISTRACTED DRIVING KILLS, SAFE DRIVING BEGINS WITH ME!!! I already live a very healthy lifestyle but am reinforced by the EHA program. Thank you for your support and constant reminders of what a healthy lifestyle includes. Keep up the good work! Your program is educational and motivating. I always look forward to reading the daily tips and recipes. I was more aware of safety issues when driving, watching out for those who were distracted by other issues, including those who tailgated -allowing them to go around rather annoying them. OTHER: when wearing the different T-shirts, I get comments and able to tell about our wellness program. Your program is awesome! You have a 'winner' in this program. Keep up the great work! Keep up the great job! You have changed a lot of lives with your programs. The programs you offer are beneficial and help hold me accountable for the task at hand whether that is eating right, sleeping more, exercising or being conscious of safety for myself and others. I appreciate this wellness program. Because I have a 23 mile commute, I would frequently talk with my elderly mother on my way home if traffic volume was low, usually next to nothing. I was proud of myself for NEVER using my cell in city traffic. These heart wrenching videos have changed me for good. In 30 days I have spoken on my cell 2 times while driving. Habits and MUST change! Thank you for doing this! Please thank all those hurting families who shared a hurt so painful to them. I have long held no mercy for drunk drivers. Then I heard someone compare trying to drive and talk on the phone to drunk driving. It so humbled me. I just won't do it anymore. I teach Driver's Education and shared the information that I learned from this website. Thank You!!

I love these programs and the constant push/reminders to be healthy! Good information that really made you think! Made me think about my behavior and follow safety rules especially while driving. I feel like I've always remembered to wear my seat belt and not text and drive. The real challenge is to get it through to my kids. Always buckle up and make everyone in car do the same. Faces of drivers just reinforced my determination to never talk or text while driving. Tell others to do the same. Much prefer doing the evaluation this way. Very good! Loved reading the various safety points throughout the month. They help prepare your mind if one of the situations mentioned arises. This program definitely increased my awareness and responsibility for not texting while driving. The videos were heartbreaking. Great recipes and pictures! Program brought to my attention many safety ideas that I really didn't think about. Now that I have information it will be easier to put it into effect at work, driving and at home. Distracted driver videos were riveting. The recipes are very helpful. The overall program helps me stay focused on taking care of my family and myself better. Good to think about. Sometimes you think you are doing all the right things, but you can always improve. I put the warning whistle on my purse when it arrived. That alone makes me feel good when I am out in a crowd. I have always done a lot of these things but the reminders were good reinforcement Have put whistle on keychain.

Love the whistle. Loud and clear. Is now part of my daily wear. Excellent facts on driving and cell phones. Very sobering. The videos made a huge impact! These were behaviors that were already a part of my lifestyle, however; it is important to be reminded of their importance. The daily reminder/video/message was very impactful. It is so good to put it out there for everyone to remember! I really appreciate the whistle because I walk alone quite frequently for exercise! Thank you! The videos were an eye opener! Great Program! I always buckle up and never text while driving. Excellent Program and examples with videos. Thanks! I try to walk every other day Really liked the recipes have made a lot of them. This program made a noticeable improvement in my safety while driving. The daily advice and videos made a real impact for my use of cell phones while driving. Hearing the testimonials about texting and driving really helped to enforce the reasoning of why to not get distracted. The videos were an inspiration, and made me more aware of not being a distracted driver. Thank you! This program really made me stop and consider the ramifications of my sometimes use of the cell phone while driving...it caused me to be much more cognizant of the need to NOT touch my phone while driving. I believe I have broken this dangerous habit, thanks to you. Thank you! Excellent awareness program!

Thanks for this initiative... too many people only seems to care about them on the road. Even if this saved just one life or stopped one distracted driving accident, it was worth it! The videos were an excellent source of understanding how careful you need to be, of yourself and also those around you. I enjoy the programs! Productivity during the summer can sometimes be tough. There is plenty of time and I tend to waste it. I have been making a note each day and trying to accomplish something different than my usual daily routine. Good program. Everyone should be encouraged to not text, receive phone calls, and buckle up for safety. Of all the programs you have offered, this has made the biggest difference in my life. The stories were so sad and the lives lost for no good reason really affected me. I would like a program like that again in the near future to keep people off their phones and attentive while driving. I think people need to be reminded of the dangers of distracted driving more often. It has made me a much more cautious driver. I am more of a defensive driver now. I don't want someone to come out of nowhere and hit me; I shouldn't assume people won't run a light or stop sign. The videos were very effective. Really opened my eyes about the problem of distracted driving. I loved this program topic!!!! It really changed my way of thinking about driving and talking on the phone. I liked the safety whistle. I took it hiking in the mountains in case we saw a bear. It's a really loud whistle. Truly enjoyed this program! Thank you. Great program! I thought the car safety advice was very helpful.

Becoming more aware of others using their cells and not buckling up while driving. Amazing how many don't follow rules. Thank you for presenting this program. It is a wakeup call. The topic of safety was relevant and one to which everyone could relate. Loved the videos. Very impactful. Awesome whistle, I will be using it on my trip abroad w/granddaughters (ages 7 & 9 yrs.) who will have a whistle of their own. Thanks! I have become even more aware of how distracting phones can be in the car and now I notice just how much other drivers are distracted by phones, passengers, all the building and road construction going on in our town- so I have become a much more aware driver and have become much more cautious and alert while driving or riding. Increased awareness is always good as I am keenly aware of the devastation caused to the families of both those who created the accident and first hand those whose family or friends were killed by a distracted driver. I was more aware of people that don't wear their seatbelts or the people that text and drive. I always tell my kids when I ride with them, no texting. It is so good to be reminded about the cell phone and the seat belts. It's always good to remember how dangerous it is to text and drive. It's easy to forget. The videos really help you to remember. I'm trying really hard not to answer my phone. I have twins that are starting to driver, so I want to show good habits. I was maybe more aware of safety, but have used seat belts and have everyone in car use seat belts for over 35 years. The program put a little bug in my ear when driving to not pick up or even look at my phone. I feel that I have always been safely conscious buckling up and not using my phone, but this program also gave me other little things that I need to be conscious about especially when alone. Thanks! I liked this program.

Great tips! Keep up the good work. I have learned the most from this series. Each and every day there was something to consider, things that had direct impact on my well-being. This made me more conscious of how I was doing things and got me thinking about how I could do things more safely. I am safety conscious anyway, but this made me re-evaluate how I was doing things and I changed some behaviors as a result. Found myself not reaching for my phone for an incoming call while driving. It helped me see some of the mistakes I had done but did not realize it until this program. Thanks! Great program this quarter, I especially liked the distracted driving series. Heartfelt and honest. I have learned new behaviors while driving and I thank you for that! I enjoyed this - I think because of the variety of information and the change in presentation, it made you more aware. Thanks again for all you do. Awareness of safety factors most people might not consider. Good program. I have become more aware of my safety behaviors. Very interesting! I have let my family & friends know that I will not answer my phone while I am driving. I will either pull over and call back or call them when I get to where I am going. I do not text & I have it blocked on my phone. I prefer to hear a person's voice. I really liked this Safety First Program. I think is has been the best yet. It teaches you to care about other people not only your own health. Thanks! Good idea and I should do this... I have learned to follow all rules when driving. I don't use the phone, usually have my grandson handle the cell phone or someone else. So I

don t get distracted. The stories really made me aware of what can happen in a split second and that people need to pay attention more. I enjoy the recipes, some more than others, but the ones I really like are excellent!! The videos on the website were excellent. Do you have them available to schools on a 'group video'? They are outstanding. I have learned to pay more attention to details and not get distracted when driving. My grandson or someone else handles the cell phone when I am driving. Many of the stories have made me realize that it just take a split second that cost lives. I lost a granddaughter last Oct, she was on her way to work and they think she was texting and she hit head with a truck was killed instantly. Thank you! Loved the stories about the dangers of distracted drivers. I even watched several of these with my family. These testimonies definitely changed my actions. Loved the Distracted Driving videos! Really gave a wake-up call watching those. Safety was always considered more. I was acutely aware of where my cell phone was and made sure to not get distracted by it. The daily reminders were very helpful prompts! Thank you! I do and have talked on the phone while driving. BUT NEVER read a text or send a text while driving. The videos you offered have made me REALIZE how quickly things can change in the blink of an eye. THANK YOU!!! I no longer will answer my phone while driving. I love this program! This Safety program reminded me of the importance of being more aware of the distractions that happened when I was driving. I also became more

aware of those that drive while I am a passenger. I spoke up when I noticed that they were distracted by their phone or other things in the car. Great reminder that we are need to be more aware of our surroundings and what we are doing to be more safe. I love this program! Buckling up is automatic after starting the car before I put it in gear. Love the whistle. My family and I always buckle up in our vehicles whether we are the driver or just a passenger. I try not to talk on my cell while driving. I will pull off to the side of the street and answer my phone if it is a call I was expecting. I do not text while driving. I have never driven and talked on my cell phone, I do not even know how to text. Recipes were good. Hopefully the videos made more people aware of being safe when driving. Great information! The video clips were very moving. I ed our high school principals suggesting that these video clips be shown to students weekly. The videos sent a very powerful message. They were very well done. I thought the safety suggestions were very good. Great suggestions and reminders for being and staying safe. I enjoy this entire yearly program. I look forward to the challenges of each new program. I share the useful information with my classes on occasion. Thank you. This program really made me aware of how much I was distracted by my phone. I am making a conscious effort to stop that behavior. Faces of Distracted Driving - Very Powerful! The videos were especially thought-provoking. Injury or a life lost due to distracted driving is NOT worth the phone message. I ve been wearing seat belt every day.

I thought it was a very good program. I wished my 30 year olds would watch some of those videos. It was very upsetting to see those families and their stories. Honestly I couldn't do it on a daily basis. This program was a wonderful reminder of important safety issues! Thank you! This program made me aware of how much I was distracted by my phone. I am making a conscious effort to stop that behavior. I thought this program was very good. Good reminders for safe living. It made me think every time I got into a vehicle to buckle up. So thank you. All my children and grandchildren have better habits. Even got after my husband to use blinkers and buckle up even though he was only going a few blocks. It s into my head now so thank you very much for keeping us all safe and aware. This was a reminder of safety around the house and car. I now am more aware and have put it to good practice. Great idea to keep users to continue to make good choices. Testing and driving is a bad combination. Hands free devices makes driving safer than using hand held phones I always enjoy these programs. Thank you for helping me to be more conscious about safety. I truly appreciate it! Good program, I liked focusing on personal safety. I already practice most of the above behaviors but it's all very good reminders and reminds me to become more aware of my surroundings! It's also very good info for me to pass on to students. I enjoy these opportunity to discuss and be mindful of safety. People get busy and often forgot to take care every day. I enjoy this format. It's easy to work with. I think this was a wonderful program. many young people should take part because some of them think It won't happen to me. Keep informing us and hopefully we will keep reading and listening.

This program helped my awareness of the safety issues that I hadn't thought about like hotel and elevator safety. I also focused on not using my cell for calls. Texting is not an issue for me since I never text and drive. Thank you!!! I like the program. It makes me stop and think each day about my life habits. I gave my phone to my son to answer phone calls and texts while I drove. I really like the videos on texting and talking on your cell. Is there some way these can get out to all students in middle and high schools and on TV commercials. They are very thought provoking and made me think differently about talking and driving. One of my student's 25 year old mothers is now paralyzed from texting and driving. She is a single mom with a 5 yr. and 5 month old. Tragedy! Thank You! Great tips, and recipes! The videos were moving and made me more resistant to letting myself be distracted while driving. Great motivator! Delicious recipes! The videos really brought home the importance of not driving distracted. This was eye opening and a good reminder to think before being distracted as a driver, put the cell phone in the back seat, out of reach! I thought the program was very enlightening and the videos on distracted driving really hit home. Love the recipes and ideas on the website! I remembered the daily tips while driving and made me more alert to my surrounding as I drove. Safety was always considered more.

I really thought more consciously about my phone in the car. I used to keep it in my cup holder, but I have kept it in my purse while driving to avoid the temptation of responding to texts or phone calls while driving. I have always used my seat belt and I won't drive until everyone is buckled up. Cell Phones, I do not answer or text while driving. I wait until I have gotten to where I am going before I touch my cell phone. Thank you for this program it was an eye opener. Really made me think twice about buckling up - even for very short trips! I now put by cell phone in the back seat so I am not tempted to even look to see at who is calling. If I know I am expecting an important call and the phone rings, I pull over to safely answer the phone. Thank you for this program it was an eye opener. Felt the distracted driving videos were very powerful. They definitely make me stop & think whenever I am tempted to text while driving. I have been stopping my car if I get a text that I feel I need to respond to. I shared the videos with my children. The videos really made an impact on them and they've been telling other family members and friends. Videos were very helpful with understanding the importance of Safety. Listening to "real" families' lost. Great information. I even shared some of the information with family and friends. Still working on telling the "driver" not to text or be on cell phone when I am the passenger. Therefore, now I do the driving. I was able to lose 7 lbs. and managed to lower my intake of drinking soda by a lot. I hardly drink it any more. I don't find the taste good any more. The videos are great reflections. I love the message to be aware of our surroundings when we are driving. Little distractions can change everyone around the driver lives forever. This makes me aware of what I'm doing. Great Job! Keep up the good work.

Although we have always used seat belts and enforced the no phone or texting with our 3 teenage daughters, it was good to share the videos with them for them to see real life situations and how quickly things can happen and to reinforce the importance of being sure their friends follow the same policy when they are with them. I wasn't expecting much from this theme. After I read the first few days, I was very serious about reading each day. The information was thought provoking and helpful. Thank you! Buckle up always. Cautious when motorcycles are around. Those videos were so convicting. It greatly helped me to not talk on the phone as much as I had previously done. I hope to keep improving and always stay off the phone! I have shared what I have learned with others. Thank you! Just got my first smart phone so this program was a good way to establish safe behaviors with the new phone. Those videos were so convicting. It greatly helped me to not talk on the phone as much as I had previously done. I hope to keep improving and always stay off the phone! I have shared what I have learned with others. Thank you! Great reminders to set examples to my passengers. Loved this program. It helped to remember how texting and talking on the telephone can change your life and/or another's life. Great ideas and reminders to continue to do the things I should be doing. Videos were very moving and thought provoking. Daily s kept safety on one's mind and served as an excellent reminder to watch those areas each day. I have been much more aware of being safer in my daily life. I am more conscious about my decision not to text or talk on the phone while driving.

I didn't think I was on the phone when I was driving, but I was surprised how many times I wanted to make unnecessary calls while I was behind the wheel. This program really helped me become more aware. Great program!!! I shared the texting/driving videos with my kids. That was awesome! I know to put the phone in the second seat so I am not tempted to even look at it in the event it rings. Good program. Very good, detailed safety tips for a variety of situations. Really love the whistle I keep it with me especially when I am out alone. I loved watching the videos each day and hearing the stories told by loved ones. Overall the program was on point. Made me really think about my seatbelt. I do not text and drive. If I need to contact someone, I pull over if safe and do so. Thanks for the information, recipes, and whistle. I always wear my safety belt but my husband doesn't. So this prompted me to encourage and insist that he wear it at all times. I do not text and drive. If I need to contact someone, I pull over if safe and do so. Thanks for the information, recipes, and whistle. When I was a passenger, I more inclined to tell the driver that I would help them answer their phone or text for them so they would not have to take their eyes off the road. Keep up the good work. This has become a lifestyle and I look forward to what is next

I did much better about not being on the phone while driving! Great information! Good reminders for safety. Reminded me to buckle up all the time. Great recipes! It was good to read the facts about safety. This is a great idea. Thank you! Thank you! I love the online accountability. Thanks for offering this program! I really liked reading the daily safety tips sent by . The statistics included (especially on texting and cell phone conversations) reinforced how important it is to not have access to you cell phone while driving. Thank you very much for all your suggestions and support! Thank you for this program! I became more aware of my overall safety. This was very good to make me more aware of safety in all areas of life. Thank you for it. Really makes you think & be aware of safety first! Presented some good ideas. Made me more aware not to answer cell when ringing and I'm driving. Made me more accountable to not answer phone while driving. I've become more aware of all safety measures. This was a very easy challenge for me since I and my family always buckle up and I do not having texting on my phone. I also do not like to talk while

I am driving. We have too many deer along the sides of our rural Nebraska roads to be talking on the phone. I always use a seatbelt and safe driving when traveling by car. This was a good reminder of the importance. The videos had a very powerful message. Good reminders! Program was good. I started a race to see which one of my 3 grandchildren can get their seat belt on the fastest. We do this each time any of the girls and me get in the car. My wife has also participated. Thanks. Videos were eye opening! I will be sharing the videos with my family. The personal stories told in the daily videos were very effective. Love the recipes, they're great thank you! :) Being in the program made me concentrate better when I was behind the wheel. Keep up the good work! Really tried to model safe behaviors while driving for my almost (July 7) sixteen year old! Always good to have information to share! Definitely a "heads-up" in reminding me what is important in my life. Just the little "things" that could go wrong if they are not looked out for. The comments are good reminders for all. My sister is really bad about talking and driving. In June she was visiting with her daughter, on the phone, and the daughter was in a minor accident during that time. They have both decided that was a bad choice... I've been made more aware of the seriousness of distractions while driving...and it is ME that chooses a distraction, whether it is eating in the car...talking on a cellphone, or other passengers with me...i must stay

focused on the driving! Thank you for your guides, and testimonies, I take them seriously...i have changed. I buckle up more on short in town trips. Always great suggestions - good common sense stuff for all of us. This was a great series. The reminders powerful. Good info and encouragement to make our lives safer. Great for awareness and to change behavior. When teaching my children to drive we had the rule that for every time you were not buckled and had to be reminded while learning to drive, you lost a day of driving after getting your license. It was tough to uphold after the license was issued, but I believe it taught a valuable lesson. This has raised my awareness of safety in my life!!!! This program made me aware of the safety of those around me as well as myself. Being aware of my surroundings and using the safety guidelines I was able to travel solo 1200 miles and feel safe. Thanks! A great program. Loved it and shared it with my family. This has been a difficult one to do as school is out and IT IS SUMMER! I have been faithful on all the other ones, but this one I have not. I very rarely check my school ...because IT IS SUMMER! My loss, I know! Recipes great reminders. Great information! I am more aware of and being on track with safety. The safety information made you take a better look at your surroundings and how those surroundings might affect your safety. My family no longer texts on the phone while driving. With all the data it made me "more aware" while driving.

I am a driver for Elkhorn Public Schools, so I am already very conscious about not texting or talking on the phone. Seat belts are always on all students. I have decided through this series that I will not even have my personal phone out while driving. In the past I have kept my work phone and personal phone in the cup holder. One less thing to distract me. I don't talk on them but they are there and I can hear them. Thanks for this series. Nothing is more important than getting to a destination safely. This program was one that I was already doing but it was a good review for me. It was a good challenge...easy enough but it was a constant reminder which was helpful. I don't use cell phone text messages, so that part was easy! Since I work on a school bus, I follow the same rules in my personal life. I don't use my cell phone while driving or biking. The videos each day were eye-opening and important. Thank you. Good idea! The text points were very helpful. I shared them with my teenage children. Thank you! Good positive reinforcement of our safety habits. The statistics were very interesting. I like the daily reminders Liked the program. Very helpful and brought some attention to concerns that I didn't think about before like not making eye contact while driving. Enjoy the safety tips. Good reminders! I even have my kids helping out with reminders for safe driving. They will call/text for me if something comes up. Do you have all of the video's compiled in one video? I would love to share them with my daughter and son and others, but don't want to go through

each . Same goes for the recipes...loved them. But, don't have a printer so it was hard. Would love to get them all together in a book to make. This made me really think about the next time I was going to "just glance a quick text" while driving. Regardless of who the text is from or what the contents of that text may be... it can wait until I am done driving! This was an easy program as I always maintain safety behaviors. Made it a point to have passengers buckle up before we start driving. The videos with people talking about people that they had lost was a life changer for me. Really made me stop and think! This program made me and my family more aware and created new habits to stay safe in our car. I really liked the stories. I shared the stories with my child to emphasize safety and to help us be safer. My child will now answer the phone and text for me or I will pull off the road and into a parking lot to text or be on a lengthy phone call. Great recipes and tips! Excellent reminders via s. Great programs helps keep me on track. Thanks Already doing all the items. Great recipes and tips. I had already maintained most of these habits, however, they were quite beneficial in reinforcing them. Delicious recipes and great motivation! Even though I normally practice safety it serves as a great tool of reinforcement to maintain safe habits for daily living. Thanks for what you do with program! Good info!

I really liked the videos of the people talking about their loved ones that have passed away due to distracted driving. This really happened to them and you can see the hurt and anger they have due to the stupidity of others. Very sad and my heart goes out to them all. I have talked to my teenage niece about texting while driving. These videos would be great for her to see. I became very much more aware of what other drivers were and were not doing. I specifically noticed erratic driving to later discover what their distraction was. It is unimaginable how many drivers are driving distracted. I saw one woman literally reading a hardcover book while driving between mph on the highway. Her speed varied that much while she moved side to side across both traffic lanes. That was scary. Through this program I am more conscientious about my environment and others around me. Modeling this behavior has positively influenced others around me. Very good program with powerful videos to reinforce what we know can happen with distracted driving. They were very interesting! My family members are buckling up at least when I'm in the car I cut chips from my diet and now walk 3 miles daily. The videos were excellent! This made me aware of how often I was talking on the phone and not taking the time to buckle up. My grandkids even help me by saying remember be safe. I try to act safely at all time, but I have talked on my phone while driving. After listening to the people who lost loved ones, I do not want to even talk on the phone hands free unless I pull over out of traffic to talk. I'm more conscious of what I'm doing on behalf of my body and mind. Excellent program! My cell phone is no longer used while driving. I pull over if I need to use it. Great program! I appreciated the new topic of safety and especially enjoy the safety whistle. Thank you very much

Thanks for the safety education! Videos eye opening! The videos were difficult, but made an impact. These programs keep me in check with my overall lifestyle. Living a stressful life of full time work, caring for elderly, dementia parents, as well as my own home and family leaves little time for anything else. This has helped me be more aware of safety hazards for all I care fore as well as for myself. Due to vacation in June I didn't track very many days. I was surprised how many coworkers said they couldn't do it because they talk and text while driving. I've never gotten into those bad habits. Although I always wear my seatbelt, this was a great remember, each time I read my and got it the car. Awesome safety! My wife and I enjoy the recipes and trying something new for a light meal. Keeping track of the exercise is a good way to stay focused. I live on a county road that is hilly that I drive 22 miles a day to work on. The month that I did this program the local telephone company had trucks and equipment running up and down the road and also working in the middle of the road to put new fiber optic wire in. So I had to be extra careful on the road. So I think that all of your advice and comments were quite useful. Thank you for the program! Having known families which have lost family members due to these distractions and being aware of these senseless losses has given me a reason to stop and double check on everyone. The video clips were very powerful. I hope that others found it to be so too. Safety information was very good! I always wear my seat belt and have never used a cell phone while driving. This program gave me information to share with others who haven't developed these good habits.

I really found out how much I used my cell phone while driving. I found I can be without using it in the car or if I ABSOLUTELY needed it, I pulled over to use it! I appreciated the "heads-ups" that the program provided. There were things that I knew I was supposed to do, but I had gotten lax about. So, the reminders were great to have. And, as usual, the recipes were very tasty. Nice reinforcement to continue to do the right things for your overall health. The videos were very good!! I enjoyed this program. I thought the videos were very well done and very thought provoking. This program brought great awareness to how often I distracted drive. However, I found that I continue to do it although not as much. I cannot honestly say not more than one day went by that I never, never picked up my phone while in the car. But I'm working on it. Great program! Good program! Great messages-the videos were awesome and very heart wrenching! Great job! This is a great way to remind us to continue thinking safety even when it should be natural and we take it for granted. Thank you... It was a great reminder of those things I ignored. I have put to practice what I learned. Positive topics to talk with coworkers about I thought the videos of people talking were very good and really touched me. I always buckle up and practice safety in the car especially with little ones around, but I sure am glad your program promoted this aspect of healthy living for everyone.

Nice reminders. The stories on the distracted driving really made me realize how much pain texting and talking can cause. I now am getting on my husband and daughter every time they drive. I've shared some of the Youtube videos with my two daughters and wife. Trying to share the message of not being distracted while driving. I am usually very safety-conscious; however, through this program, I became aware of some safety tips that I did not know about. I will certainly share all of them with others. Thank you. Excellent program. We need to do a safety program again in the future - I don't get on the internet as often in the summer, but thought this was a really good program. I've gone back to watch some of the videos I missed. They are powerful. I am a safe driver. I agree with strong intent to never speak or text on the phone while driving, pull over, or return call as soon as you pull over to deal with a phone. I stand firm on not talking and texting while driving. Thanks for the help and ideas on safety. I continue to learn and pay more attention. I've always have used the seat belt, & my cell phone is never answered while I am driving. I wait until I have stopped then I look at my texts & calls. I was doing all these things before the program! Liked the reporting format on this one :-) Great program. This program made me stop and think about phone use in the car. I found myself not even turning on my phone most of the time. I was already very healthy and safe so I don't feel I had room for much improvement.

This program helped me to see more how my safety ability was in driving and the safety of my family. I hope my family will also learn from me how important it is to be safe on the road and at home. I do this already. I enjoyed this program. I thought the videos were very well done and very thought provoking. Dr Ann's Eat Right for Life book is one I will benefit from for a long time. Thank You very much for this gift. Using seatbelt every day now. This program helps people think about taking care of themselves. Sometimes we need to be reminded of some simple acts which might save our lives and others. I appreciated all positive comments and success stories. It is great to have the support of the program to make me well aware of my own behavior and success of the program! This program made me take a double look at our daily lives and making sure everyone is being as safe as they can. Good information every day helps me to remind myself to always be safe when traveling or just out walking for exercise This program helped me be much more aware of cell phone usage and buckling up in the back seat. I stop on a side road if I read or send a text. I stop on a side road to text. I showed the videos to my children, they are too young to drive but it's never too early to educate about habits-good and bad- that we can have. Videos were good. Hearing from victims' families is so sad that I couldn't watch them all! The videos on driving when distracted were very informative.

Love the ideas and motivational help...especially in the summer! I hope that this program is continued!! Thank you so very much! Good! Enjoying this. Holds me accountable. The program made me more aware of the use of my phone while driving. I don't text while driving but in the past I would talk on my phone, now I either pull over or call the person back later. I referred a woman in line at the grocery store to use the free service of the local fire station to determine if she had her child seat in place properly in the back seat (and not just guess). I've really learned a lot and have changed my way of thinking on a lot of thing, both at work and at home. It is good to have frequent reminders about the dangers of texting and distracted driving. I don't always consciously realize I use my phone as much as I do. :( Good program! Improved! Thank you for the wonderful program. This program helped me become more aware of my safety and those in my car. The suggestions in the program make me think twice about making a quick call on my cell phone. I know I should focus on driving when behind the wheel and nothing else is more important. Great safety tips for life. Great information to live by for life. It made me think twice about making cell phone calls when driving. Great program! Enjoyed participating.

Always wear my seat belt any one that get into my car have to put one on before the car move. Great program. It's really made me focus completely on driving when behind the wheel. Can tell that the changes are good. Trying to do what you guys recommend! It was very interesting Keep it up! Living in a farming community we have to constantly remind our young drivers about intersections and corn fields. Farmers and their large equipment, 4-wheelers & irrigation vehicles being used. These come out of fields will no warning and kids always need reminded to be aware. A big difference from urban and rural safe driving skills. Keep up the good work! Need to make teenager and young adult realize that texting while driving is a dangerous situation. Balancing work, home, and fitness life. Time management. It s okay to take "me" time. It would be nice to do it again in the future Put these safety tips on T.V. and radio! Those piano videos were awesome. Some musical selections are a nice addition. This program is an excellent way to maintain our body and mind alert and healthy. Thank you! Keep up the great work!!! Do this program more often using video to create a strong messages in the programs. e.g. examples of people with heart problems or other chronic diseases to create new habits to changes our diets and do more exercise that will help me or others to be more conscious in our daily routines.

Education regarding looking both ways before proceeding out in traffic. Also being patient. Continue to push us towards success! Keep these programs coming. Thanks The wellness program keeps me thinking. I enjoy reading the books that go with each of the programs. Keep the healthy info coming. It would help me if the links were easier to understand. I found myself clicking on the wrong link from time to time. Thank you. Keep building on what has been started. I enjoy it and am learning from it. I enjoy readings and activities. Doing good. Keep up the great programs! Continue the same! I wouldn't change anything! Thank you! This would be great for high school students to see as the reality of the death might hit home for some of them. Health is a good motivator. Overall, an excellent month of information and a perfect time to do the safety program. Thank you! Keep the good work! I am more aware of what I am eating.

I found the suggestions, advice on changes to make, and the new ideas you gave me to be thoughtful and valuable. I would love to see a "stretch" for health! Stretching exercises!!! I like the shirts!
