2 ACCESS Linnaeus Center ACCESS was established from VR grant 2006 Developed into a leading European university research center in networked systems - 36 faculty, 25 postdocs, 100 PhD students - Basic funding from VR on 1.4 MEUR per year - Total research budget 2010 over 12 MEUR Significant scientific results and new programs Graduate school with >50 graduated PhD s Faculty renewal and mobility programs Extensive international and industrial collaborations External communication and dissemination 2
