5 How do the product s work We have reviewed our product referencing method to reflect our new Sales policy. The s below apply to all products, except for Subscriptions. For subscription s, refer to Section E. Please pay close attention to the new codes. When referencing a product, you must replace the Bolded Blue columns with a value. T is for Type of license & protection When referencing a product, please select the type of license and protection you require. 6 SECTION B - WHAT S NEW?. Product Releases Release of CODESOFT 202, SENTINEL 202, LABELVIEW 202 and LABEL MATRIX 202 With Windows 8 and Windows Server 202 compatibility. The following features apply to all products in the 202 range: Serial number (s/n), type of license and license status are now available in the About dialog box. When a product is in Evaluation mode, printing is no longer available. To learn more, visit the product pages at 2. Product Announcement Coming soon! TEKLYNX Print Module, a cost-effective label printing automation solution. TEKLYNX Print Module runs as a Windows service, and offers the following features: Can pilot up to 6 printers simultaneously As a multi-task application, it allows you to manage two (2) distinct print processes Supports structured data entry in text format (.txt) For more details, go to Section D Products and Pricing. VM Product Range With the release of CODESOFT 202, SENTINEL 202 and LABELVIEW 202, a new offering is available: the VM (Virtual Machine) product range, which ensures that your software will work correctly in either a physical or virtual environment. If you need to use TEKLYNX software in a virtual environment, our VM products have been specifically designed for this purpose. All our VM products are also fully compatible with use on physical machines. The VM range is only available for CODESOFT, SENTINEL and LABELVIEW. For full details, go to Section F VM Products and Pricing 4. SENTINEL - VM SENTINEL is now only available as a VM product. SENTINEL-VM offers customers the guarantee that their label printing automation software is tested and supported for use in virtual environments. It also remains fully compatible with use on a physical machine. Whether you buy SENTINEL-VM with a subscription or perpetual license, technical support is now always included. 7 . Subscriptions - Available for all products Subscription licensing is now available for all products in this price list, and all types of licenses, including the Hardware license. Simple. A simple update process. maintenance is included in the cost of the subscription, so users have access to the latest product version during the subscription period. Flexible. Offers customers a choice. If a full license at full cost does not fit this s budget, a subscription offers the same product at a lower price point. Valuable. Lower up-front cost offers value to customers. They can get more software (additional users, updates, support) for a lower cost, with guaranteed access to current technology. Different pricing and conditions apply to Online/Hardware/ and Offline subscriptions. For full details, go to Section E License Subscription 6. Offline Subscription only The Offline perpetual license is no longer available. For all products, the Offline license is now only available as a subscription: a simple, flexible, cost-effective solution. maintenance is included in the cost of the subscription, so users have access to the latest product version during the subscription period. Distributor Tools Reseller demo keys With the release of our 202 range of products, new conditions apply to reseller demo keys. When you buy a Reseller Demo Kit, you will receive a time-limited license for demonstration purposes, and the key will have to be reprogrammed (updated) annually for it to function correctly. A reseller demo key will be valid for from the date it is programmed. The annual demo key update is free of charge. The number of days left on a demo key is indicated by the software interface. When you order a product you must specify the type of license you require. Hardware Pricing: public price of a Online license + 20 or Available for all versions of the 202 product range, excluding VM products A free USB or LPT port is required. The software will only work when the hardware key is connected. If the hardware key is damaged, lost or stolen, the license is no longer valid. Pricing: public price of a Online license + 2% Available for some versions of the 202 product range Internet connection required to start the software. No internet connection required to use the software. 7 license transfers * are possible. If the licensed computer is damaged, lost or stolen, the license can be reactivated a maximum of 4 times. Simultaneous use of the license on 2 or more computers is a breach of the License Agreement. 2 additional licenses ( Online) - each valid for 90 days from date of activation - are delivered with the license. Subscription only Offline Only available as a Subscription. With a subscription, your rights to use the software are limited to the subscription period. After the subscription expires, most features of the software or the entire software will stop running. For subscriptions, the 2 additional licenses provided are valid for 0 days for the 2-month subscription, and for days for the 6-month subscription. 8.
