1 VDI Mixer/Amplifier/Multiplier Chains (MixAMCs) VDI s MixAMCs provide high performance broadband downconversion and frequency extension of microwave spectrum analyzers into the THz range. Models are currently available for coverage from 50-1,100GHz, with additional bands under development. These modules combine achieve lowconversion loss and excellent noise figure. Standard features include broadband IF up to 20GHz for block down-conversion. A VDI-175 power supply is required. Performance options include micrometer driven variable RF attenuators, waveguide twists, test ports, and horn antennas for free-space coupling. On models from WR3.4 to WR1.0, broadband IF up to 40GHz is available upon request. Front Panel of VDI MixAMC (Vertical E-Field Polarization) Back Panel of VDI MixAMC VDI MixAMCs offer full waveguide band coverage and turn-key operation. They are housed in 8 x5 x3 enclosures suitable for standalone operation or optical table & probe station mounting.
