The examination admission ticket will be given at the examination site on the day of the selection. Ⅱ Qualifications All conditions (1) to (3) below must be met to apply for the entrance examination. 1. Must be of foreign nationality. *Those who hold dual nationality (Japan plus another) should contact the Admission Office at kuao ml.kandai.jp beforehand. 2. Must have completed or will have completed by the time a student enters the university a 12-year curriculum of school education outside Japan. This includes those who completed 12-year curriculum in less than 12 years through skipping a grade, or have been deemed to have an equivalent educational background by the Faculty Council, and must be 18 years of age or more at the time of enrollment. Those who are deemed to have an equivalent educational background include those who have received eight years or more of a 12-year curriculum of school education in their home country and have either graduated from high school there, or will have graduated by the time of enrollment. Also, those who have graduated or will have graduated from high school in less than 12 years due to the education system of their home country, and have completed or will have completed a preparatory education curriculum to enter a Japanese university are eligible. 1

2 *The enrollment period at an international or ethnic school in Japan, or school overseas based on the Japanese education system is deemed as the same period spent learning in a Japanese school. Those who have graduated or will graduate from a Japanese high school or junior high school are not eligible to apply for the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students. 3. Must have taken the subjects specified by each faulty in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU). *The language the test can be taken in can be chosen from either Japanese or English, except for the subject of "Japanese as a Foreign Language." Ⅲ Screening Method and Examination Subjects Faculty of Law/ Policy Studies/ Safety Science/ Engineering Science/ Environmental and Urban Engineering/ Chemistry, Materials and Bioengineering A screening process is carried out on the submitted documents and the score from Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by Japan Student Services Organization. Faculty of Letters/ Health and Well-being A screening process is carried out on the submitted documents and the score from Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by Japan Student Services Organization and English certificate examination and interview. Faculty of Economics A screening process is carried out on the submitted documents and the score from Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) conducted by Japan Student Services Organization and English certificate examination. 2

The score or grade must be one achieved in the two years preceding the application. Only Faculty of Letters and Health and Well-being Persons who have received their most recent six years of normal schooling in English and submit documents proving this may be exempted from the submission of a score. 3

(2) Payment Period Nov 9, 2015(Mon) to Nov 25, 2015(Wed) (3) Payment Method Payment should be made using any of the following methods. Money Transfer from inside Japan At the counter of a financial institution Enter the necessary items on the Kansai University application forms (Form A, Form B, Form C) and then transfer the payment using wire transfer from the counter of a financial institution such as your local bank, credit union, credit association or agricultural cooperative. Do not make the transfer from an ATM (automated teller machine) or post office (Japan Post Bank). After the transfer is made, a stamp of receipt will be stamped by the financial institution on Form A and Form C. Please store Form C yourself. Payment from outside of Japan Credit Card Due to high bank transfer fees and other complications, students paying fees from outside of Japan are encouraged to pay by credit card when possible. Money Transfer from Outside of Japan(When payment using a credit card is not possible) Make sure to include the name and address of the applicant. Foreign currency is not acceptable. Transfer the fee in Japanese Yen. All fees charged for money transfers are the responsibility of the sender. A copy of the international transfer application form must be attached on this form. 6 Ⅶ Result For both successful and unsuccessful applicants, notification will be sent to the individual by express mail on Thursday, January 21, This is the only official notification. If the current address of the applicant is outside of Japan, the notification will be sent via international express mail (EMS). For successful applicants, documents such as the form for the payment of fees on admission and the Admission procedures guide <1> will be sent together with the notification of passing the examination. Ⅷ Admission procedures Successful applicants should perform the admission procedures below in accordance with the Admission procedures guide <1>.The applicant must complete the registration process by the deadline in order to enter the course. No late registration will be accepted. The Admission Fee will not be refunded for any reason once it has been received. More details will be included in the registration package sent to successful applicants. 6
