4 USER PROFILES OPERATOR DataMiner Operators use the DataMiner System on a daily basis to manage their operations and to interact with their operational ecosystem. This includes navigating through the operational ecosystem, managing active alarms, consulting historical alarms, real-time interaction with managed devices, consulting trend data and statistical reports, etc. DataMiner Administrators are responsible for setting up and maintaining a DataMiner multi-vendor NMS. This includes for example adding new devices, changing alarm thresholds, managing user accounts, configuring backup policies, creating graphical system presentations, etc. APPLICATION DEVELOPER DataMiner Application Developers are responsible for creating applications with the DataMiner multi-vendor NMS. This includes for example developing Correlation and Automation logic (e.g. for redundancy architectures,...). DRIVER DEVELOPER DataMiner Driver Developers are engineers responsible for developing new drivers, which enable DataMiner Systems to interface with third-party devices and systems using SNMP.
