1 PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 1, 2014 CONTACT: Koger Propst, President, ANB BANK CONNECTS WITH ITS COMMUNITIES DENVER, CO ANB Bank believes in giving back to the communities it serves, and in doing so today announced its monetary contributions and employee volunteer hours for In total, 37 Banking Centers supported 426 organizations across Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas in 2013 with branch donations, community gifts, sponsorships, and employee matching gift programs. The Bank also made in-kind donations of its services. The Bank s community sponsorships and donations totaled over $404,250, and the Bank s employees dedicated more than 2,946 combined volunteer hours and contributed donations on their own. In total, ANB and its employees helped the communities where they live and work with over $408,000. In addition, Donald and Susan Sturm, owners of ANB Bank, founded The Sturm Family Foundation in 1990 to support many philanthropic initiatives, with a focus on affordable housing opportunities for low-income families and educational opportunities for children. The Foundation also helps further higher education opportunities, as well as philanthropic efforts in many of the communities ANB Bank operates. In 2013, The Sturm Family Foundation matched

2 $55,223 in ANB Bank community sponsorships and donations, and gave a total of $2,293,376 to worthy organizations. Since 2004 ANB has contributed more than $6 million to local non-profit groups and community activities, said Koger Propst, President of ANB Bank. In addition, during that same time period the Sturm Family Foundation gave over $23.5 million. Like most businesses, ANB has seen some affects from the economic downturn, but Propst says the Bank remains strong and still believes in giving back to the community. We are proud to continue supporting so many deserving causes and events in our communities. ANB Bank and the Sturm Family Foundation supported the following community and non-profit organizations in 2013: 4-H, Wild Horse Club Access Roaring Fork Adopt-a-Family Albany County Public Library Allied Jewish Federation of CO (AJF) Alpine Autism Center Alzheimer's Association American Banker's Association (ABA) American Cancer Society American Culinary Federation American Diabetes Association American Enterprise Institute American Heart Association American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) American Legion American Red Cross Angel Eyes (fka Colorado SIDS Program, Inc.)
