1 Danfoss Link CC Mk II (with minisd card) software The initial Danfoss Link CC software: Supports all features from the original Devilink software. New functionality providing control of radiator thermostats, Danfoss Link HC (Hydronic Controller) and Danfoss Repeater Unit (CF-RU). Includes a Danfoss Design Line background as default skin setting Austria, Belgium and Switzerland added in the Country List. Flush functionality to force and TWA actuators fully open in order to flush and remove air in the system. Control of Thermia and Danfoss Heat Pumps with DCM0 (code no. 086L0474). Support of Danfoss Link BR (Boiler Relay) - only Automatic On/Off control is supported. Any number of rooms can be selected as reference, i.e. the boiler will be turned ON if any of the selected rooms call for heat. Note: It is recommended to use software version.4.5 or later for boiler control Support of Danfoss Link BR with TPI (Time Proportional Interval) control. A duty cycle is calculated by the Danfoss Link CC and is used to control the boiler: TPI3 splits the hour into intervals of 0 minutes. Example: depending on the calculated heat demand each 0 minutes could be split into 8 minutes ON and minutes OFF. TPI3 is recommended for condensing non-modulating oil boilers. TPI6 splits the hour into intervals of 0 minutes. Example: depending on the calculated heat demand each 0 minutes could be split into 3 minutes ON and 7 minutes OFF. TPI6 is recommended for condensing non-modulating gas boilers. Other Danfoss Link BR features: The Danfoss Link BR is motioned every 7 hours if no other activity. The motion lasts for minute and happens at 5.00 hrs. Example: If the Danfoss Link CC has received no heat demand for 7 hours and the time is 3.00, then the BR will be turned on for minute at 5.00 (7+ hours). If the set point temperature is changed manually (on, Danfoss Link TM RS or Danfoss Link TM CC) to be lower than the measured temperature in a room, the Danfoss Link BR will turn off immediately. This requires that no other reference room is calling for heat. Improved network test to make sure that there is sufficient signal strength between to/from the devices communicating with the Danfoss Link CC. The requirements for getting a valid and positive network test is higher than in the previous software versions: Detailed status of network test with indication of signal strength. A popup dialog will warn the installer if he leaves the Service Area without having made a valid network test. Built-in logging features: It is possible to start a data log of the Danfoss Link system without entering a 3 digit developer license code. A red dot in the upper right corner will indicate if logging is on-going. Disable rooms for cooling (via a Danfoss Link HC). If the consumer uses his hydronic floor heating to cool down the house during warm days the disabling function makes it possible to deselect single rooms and keep a higher temperature in some rooms. Rooms not selected for cooling are not heated. The Danfoss Link TM HC can only be in heating mode or cooling mode, but it is possible to enable different modes for the different Danfoss Link TM HCs in the same Danfoss Link system. User selectable load management on a Danfoss Link HC where it is possible for the user to select between Spreading and Stacking for Danfoss Link TM HC load management. When spreading is enabled the Danfoss Link TM HC will spread the load of hot water between the TWA. A feature also known from CF+. Turkey added in the Country List. Improved and more robust memory management in the Danfoss Link CC. Bug fixes: The list with selected reference rooms for boiler control is now remembered after a reboot of the Danfoss Link TM CC. Missing forecast in the end of an Away mode meaning that the user will come home to a cold house. The Danfoss Link system doesn t start heating until the Away mode is over. This missing forecast in Away mode happens only in rare situations, when ) Away mode is scheduled to start, and ) Just before the Away mode is about to start the user decreases the temperature when being in a set back period. In a room with or Danfoss Link HC Turn Heating On/Off is no longer valid, only Tamper Proof and Frost Protection are valid. Minor bugs not visible to the user or the installer are fixed. 2 Remote sensor support, so temperature control using and Danfoss Link RS can be configured for special heating needs. The extended temperature control makes it possible to configure for special heating applications, where the radiator is hidden behind bars, a furniture or similar. A new menu in the service mode provides the possibility to configure how the radiator is placed: Visible, Covered or in a Trench. Important Note: The new menu will only appear with use of sw 3.0 and when a Danfoss Link RS is installed in the room. External Away functionality: Support of Danfoss Link SCM (Simple Communication Module). The Danfoss Link SCM can wirelessly enable and disable Away mode (Holiday mode) on the Danfoss Link CC. Danfoss Link SCM will be introduced in September/ October 0. The Away icon (suitcase) is only displayed for 0 minutes to avoid showing that nobody is at home. After 0 minutes the normal standby screen with the clock is shown. Built-in data logging is encrypted, so that the data log saved on the memory card can only be read by a Danfoss decryption tool. Danfoss Link CC Mk III (with USB) software New faster hardware with USB-port for software upgrades. Added Setpoint Memory functionality, so the user can select whether or not a change to a setpoint in economy and/or comfort modes should be saved for next economy/comfort period in the room.
