2 We are excited about our Sunday School growth and wanted to share some highlights! We have seen Sunday School attendance grow from an average of 255 to 293 (15%) since beginning two worship services on November 9 through December Our young couples class, now called the SALT class, is led by a new leadership team consisting of: Frank & Susan Wilder, Andy & Lisa McDonald and Nathan & Melissa Sangster. The class has 24 members enrolled and has averaged 16 the first ten weeks. Our 6th grade class ( leaders: Don & Carrie Vail) and our 9th grade class ( leaders: Jim & Karra Axline) both had a week of perfect attendance in December! Wilders McDonalds Sangsters Don & Carrie Jim & Karra Thanks to wonderful teachers, and a great Student Care Ministry led by Beth Stewart our student attendance has increased in some classes by 15-20%. Beginning in February, the Pastor s class will now be taught by Scott & Tammy Etherton, and Steve Boyd will be beginning a new class for year old members. Beth Our college class is now being led by Mike & Judy Manna. They had a great start in December and included a movie and dinner night for the college students while they were on Christmas break. Judy Mike Our 5th grade class ( leaders: Brent & Natasha Evans) has had five baptisms during the past year. Nine of the sixteen children who are attending kid s camp are from our 5th grade Sunday School class. 4 DNOW 2015 We had an incredible weekend! Thanks so much to all of our host families and volunteers. Your support for our students made the weekend memorable. Twelve of our college students led small group studies and we were blessed to have our music led by the Boyce College band. We had 60 students attend and 20 volunteers. A big thank you to Josh Holland for leading our worship experience!

Begins Sunday, January 25 at 5:30pm Facilitator: Israel Snider Are you actually prepared to give a reason for the hope that is in you? Can you in gentleness and respect explain your faith in Christ and God's word.? TruU #2 is a series offered through Focus on the Family, that answers the question, "Is the Bible reliable?". Often we who claim the title of Christian, are by our own choice, ill-equipped to answer what should be basic questions about what we believe. We are offering this class in the hopes that you will be led by the Holy Spirit to boldly share your faith, in gentleness and respect (2 Timothy 2:24-26). Women s Class Begins Monday, January 26 at Facilitators: Susan Wilder & Shannon Windhorst Ever feel insufficient? Could it be that your weaknesses are the keys that unlock God's strength? Through a look at the life of Gideon, you can discover that instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, you can see them as the gifts, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God s strength. Your weakness, God s strength In 2014, Adventure Club began a new adventure with our Infant and Toddler program. This program grew in a very short amount of time. We currently have 55 children enrolled in our Infant and Toddler program. It truly has been blessed by God with families and the staff to support the program. Adventure Club will begin accepting registration for our Preschool program the first week in February for all children in our 2, 3, and 4 year old and PreK+ classes. We will accept registration from the church and families already enrolled in Adventure Club on February 2. We will accept registration from the public beginning on February 16, Please continue to pray for our program. The staff of Adventure Club believe we are here for a purpose to do God's work in the lives of the children and their families..

6 Missions Saturday, March 14 First Baptist Church in Shelbyville -4pm A powerful and practical missions opportunity we participate in for our local community is the Shelby Touched Twice clinic. Every year hundreds of volunteers share the love of Jesus by coming alongside those in need to provide practical needs such as medical, dental, hair cuts, clothes closet, and food kitchen. Volunteers are needed to shepherd guests through the clinic and to help in the areas listed above. We are anticipating serving 500 guests during the day.
