From university Sonia joined Downs Surgical and worked primarily in export until Sonia established Sheffmed in 2000 with Alan and is responsible for the internal workings of the company. Sonia is married with 2 dogs, 2 cats and enjoys organising the company social calendar. Alan started life out in the Forces before joining the NHS and working in procurement. In 1991 Alan joined the private sector and so began his career in sales and marketing. Before establishing Sheffmed with Sonia Alan was responsible for export sales in Asia Pacific for Downs Surgical.
