Assistant Dean for Faculty Development ofd@einstein.yu.edu Indiana Stepping Stones of in luncheons in academic medicine tend to have smaller professional networks than male colleagues, and because fewer women than men advance to higher ranks, women have fewer role models of success. With this luncheon series, the IUSM creates a forum where all faculty and students can learn through hearing the career development journeys of successful women. The format for the luncheon consists the opportunity for the audience to listen in on a live, one-on-one interview with a woman in medical or scientific leadership. The conversation is about significant milestones ( stepping stones ) in their professional development, and what has enabled them to be successful along the way. All IUSM faculty and students Mary E.
