6 Thermal Insulation The Comboroof system is based on a spray applied 2-component PU foam which excludes the possibility of any thermal bridges. Being spray applied the thermal insulation is fully bonded to the substrate. A special foam formulation allows loads of 2.5 tons per m² to be installed above the foam. Whereas standard roofing systems with an EPS boards thickness of 75mm achieve a U-Value of W/m²K, does Comboroof just require a thickness of 45mm thick special monolithic foam. This saves resources and certifies Comboroof to be part of your LEED certification as it can also be easily separated for future recycling processes.

8 Guranteed Waterproofing Products and their performance do not matter alone when it comes to waterproofing. The application has utmost importance. This is why Comboroof is just installed by our own application division to assure the highest performance of all system elements. It starts with the spray application of the 2-component PU foam to assure 100 percent bonding to the substrate and ends with the application of the final liquid applied waterproofing coating.
