3 System Block Diagram Communication by Supervisor in Network Maxlogic Addressable System GCU (Gateway Control Unit); has been designed to monitor and manage ML-121X, ML-123X, ML-124X and ML-125XX series intelligent addressable fire alarm control panels through Supervisor Graphic Software. GCU is used for establishing the connection between fire alarm control panels and computer on which Supervisor Software is installed. This communication is provided via communication modules inside GCU. 4 different type of access can be provided between fire alarm control panel and computer on which Supervisor Software is installed: - Accessing control panel by using TCP/IP communication module through internet (LAN or WAN), - Accessing control panel by using GPRS communication module through internet with GSM Service Provider, - Accessing control panel by using RS-232 communication module at 15 meters, - Accessing control panel by using RS-485 communication module at 1200 meters. Each fire alarm control panel must have ML-1201 Network module in order to establish the connection between GCU and Maxlogic series fire alarm control panels and ML-12XX.N models must be selected. Up to 64 fire alarm control panels can be connected to each other in one network. 16 loops x 127 addresses x 64 control panels = device can be included in one network.
