3 Monitoring Overview Monitoring solution is necessary for PV system since it offers user a choice of knowing what is going with the plant. All SAJ solar inverters support communication interface RS485, Ethernet RJ45 and Wi-Fi. RS485 is standard and Ethernet RJ45/Wi-Fi is optional. SAJ Logger is a logging device which can monitor one or multi-inverter as a plant. It supports RS485/RJ45/Wi-Fi communication interface to inverter and RJ45/GPRS to internet access. It is also a good solution for commercial plant.

4 Monitoring Overview SAJ Web Portal is an free user application which user can see the detail data of the plant. It has three version: web, iphone App and Android App. All the users should register through to use SAJ Web Portal. SAJ Web Server is an integrated web application inside the inverter. Only inverter with RJ45 or Wi-Fi interface has such feature. The SAJ Web Server can be opened by an web browser after the inverter has connection to the computer, such as IE, Google Chrome. SAJ Viewer is an monitoring software through PC which can directly monitor the inverter through RJ45/Wi-Fi. It offers a local monitoring solution when there is no internet access for inverters and the user wants to track the performance the inverter every day.

6 Ethernet RJ45 Ethernet RJ45: 1) Directly access to routers or switches with RJ45 cables; 2) Supports Ethernet ON/OFF with LCD menu operation; 3) Support IP Configuration Auto/Manual with LCD menu operation; 4) DHCP by factory default with the first connection to the router

7 Ethernet RJ45 Features: 1, All the inverters are connected through RJ45 cables to the nearby router. 2, Auto IP address assignment to inverters by the router, saving network configuration trouble. 3, Data sent out periodically to SAJ Database in USA through the router with internet access 4, Better for monitoring plants with1-4 pieces SAJ inverters, single phase or three phase. 5, Remote monitoring supported through SAJ Web Portal(web, iphone /Android App).

8 Ethernet RJ45 How to check the local connection: Local connection means the connection between inverters and the router, and even devices between in the same local network. 1) Make sure all the RJ45 cables are checked with RJ45 network cable tester. 2) Connect all the inverters to the nearby router with the tested RJ45 cables. 3) Connect the PC or laptop to the router with RJ45 cable or Wi-Fi to make sure the inverter and the pc/laptop shares the same local network. 4) Click Get_Inverter_IP.exe to see whether all the web server of the inverters can be automatically opened. Get_Inverter_IP.exe can be downloaded through SAJ website: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox are recommended for web browser. 5) Only all the integrated web server can be viewed through web browser then the proper local connection is ensured.

9 Ethernet RJ45 How to check the remote connection: Remote connection means the connection from SAJ inverters to SAJ Database in USA. 1) Make sure all the inverters have proper local connection; 2) Make sure the router has proper internet t access; 3) Check the six-digit Portal ID by LCD Menu Operation for all the inverters. Only inverters with 6-digit Portal ID have good remote connection. * Please refer to inverter user manual for Portal ID. * Sometimes it will take several minutes to get the Portal ID after entering the menu of Portal ID. Only inverters have successful remote connection can be monitored through SAJ Web Portal.

10 Integrated Wi-Fi Integrated Wi-Fi module is available for whole range of Sununo and Suntrio inverters. Integrated Wi-Fi module should be ordered before delivery for Sununo-TL series. Integrated Wi-Fi module can be ordered after the delivery for Suntrio-TL series.

12 Integrated Wi-Fi What can I do for the Wi-Fi connection if I have an inverter with RJ45 interface Suntrio-TL inverter Wi-Fi Bridge/Repeater Wi-Fi Router Saving 50 Sununo-TL inverter All the Wi-Fi bridge or repeater(for example, Edimax EW-7228APn) which has Ethernet RJ45 port can connect to SAJ solar inverters with RJ45 cable and to Wi-Fi router wirelessly.

13 SAJ Logger Features: 1, All the inverters are connected through RS485 to SAJ Logger. 2, SAJ Logger is connected to the nearby router through RJ45 cable. 3, Better for monitoring plants with up to 32 pieces SAJ inverters, single phase or three phase. 4, Can monitor locally through SAJ Logger web server(integrated inside the SAJ Logger). 5, Remote monitoring supported through SAJ Web Portal(web, iphone /Android App). In order to monitor remotely, SAJ Logger should be connected to the router with internet access.

20 SAJ Viewer SAJ Viewer is local monitoring software installed on pc or laptop. The pc or laptop should share the same network with inverters. Feature: 1) Can monitor multi-inverter as one plant. 2) Individual view of day/month/year /total yield graphs of each inverter. 3) Whole graphic view of day/month/year/total yield of the plant. 4) Manual time-synchronization of inverters RTC.
