20 VORF VERIFICATION Correlation between GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) derived tides with tide heights measured at a shore based tide gauge (both curves levelled to LAT using the VORF model) Independent verification of VORF LAT values was carried out. The process involved logging tide height data over a full lunar cycle and conducting tidal harmonic analysis using the National Oceanography Centre s TASK software (Tidal Analysis Software Kit). Calibrated tide data from the 14/6/2013 to the 25/9/2013 was analysed with TASK and a statistical value for LAT in relation to the WGS84 Ellipsoid computed using 26 harmonics over the period.
