Create plant labels and information sheets with MS Word. Event planning and development. Restoration work: plant stock plants at nursery for future seed collection while rebuilding natural habitat; assist in restorative plantings through the Carver County SWCD and private contracts. Seasonal Forestry Worker, Three Rivers Park District (September November 2013): Performed forestry tasks, including harvesting, planting, invasive species control and mapping, landscape restoration, shade tree disease control, and plant maintenance. Follow safety procedures for utilizing chemicals (MSDS experience), tools, and larger equipment. CSA Apprentice, Organic Farming Apprentice, Blackberry Community Farm (June 2012-August 2012): Communicated with and educated CSA members about the importance of sustainable, organic farming, strengthening commitment to environmental stewardship, family farms, and social, economic issues. Tended crops by sowing, planting, weeding, and harvesting. Prepared member boxes for delivery.
