Bachelor of Quantity Surveying Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) with a minimum aggregate of B- (minus) and C+ (plus) as the minimum grade in cluster Groups of 4 subjects which include: Mathematics, Physics, any subject from Group III (History and Government Geography Christian Religious Education Islamic Religious Education Hindu Religious Education); or 2 nd Group II (Biology or Chemistry); 2 nd Group III Group IV (Home Science, or Art and Design or Agriculture or Aviation Technology or Computer Studies); Group V (French, German, Arabic, Music, Business Studies). (ii) A JKUAT Diploma in a relevant discipline or its equivalent approved by the JKUAT Senate. (NB: Successful applicants will report in September 2015) COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES SR.# Programme Minimum Requirements 1 BSc. in Civil Engineering Diploma applicants holding: JKUAT University Diploma with at least a Credit pass in the relevant discipline, and satisfactorymean/subject grades at O-Levels or equivalent. Such applicants will be eligible to join the second year of study. or Ordinary Diploma from an institution recognized by the Senate having been awarded and examined by the Kenya National examinations Council or any other external examinations body recognized by the University Senate as being of equivalent status, with a pass in relevant discipline and satisfactory mean/subject grades at O-Levels or equivalent. or A holder of any other qualifications recognized by the Senate as equivalent to (i), (ii) or above. or A holder of Higher National Diploma offered by KNEC or A holder of any other qualifications recognized by the Senate as equivalent to Higher National Diploma offered by KNEC.

Food Service & 4 Hospitality Management BSc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics Diploma in Food Technology from a recognized institution. 5 BSc. Horticulture Must have a minimum aggregate of C+ (Plus) in Kenya Certificate of 6 BSc. Environmental Horticulture and Landscaping Technology. 7 BSc. Agriculture 8 BSc. Agricultural Economics and Rural Development 9 BSc.
