1 WALLOON DESCRIPTION: Object: Access System to Car Sharing cars: Type of access to car Access procedure Functions of the access device Easy use of access device and procedures Each car has an on board computer. Reservations made by the internet or via the call centre have been sent to this computer by sms. During access procedure the on board computer checks whether the person asking to get into the car is the right person at the right time at the right car. When the reservation time starts, the client has to hold his cambio card before the window screen of the car. There a card reader has been installed. The board computer checks whether this person has the right to enter the car at that moment. If everything is okay the car opens and the client can enter. He/she now has to identify him/herself a second time by typing in a pin code. If this code is right, the key is available and the car can be started. Whole access procedure + radio + "mobile phone" with access towards the call centre + management of tank card The system is very easy to use : the client just has to hold his card before the card reader and once in the car only has to enter a pin code. When ending the trip, he/she only has to answer 1 or 2 questions on the screen with a simple yes or no. Contacting the call centre is possible via a direct link (just pushing one button).
